The Cat’s Meow

Somewhere between Plato’s cave
And a beachfront retreat
There is a young lady
Polished in wit and wired
With a predilection for
A sculptable universe

Highly motivated to form
And the essence of a
Thought; by bearded professors-
That exudes a valence
through her imagination
And set’s brush fires

Conclusions
Illusions
Confusions
All emanate from her quill

She rides somewhere between Agamemnon
And Ajax with a saddlebag filled
With sophisticated and wry metaphors
Each moment a treasure trove
That dances in her flickering eyes

Our axis is tilting now and

White winter wool will
Cover our pleasure
And she will gather innovations
Like eggs in a basket

Read her once and she
Will send your mind
On a wild goose chase
Yet, perhaps that is exactly
What you wanted

In the first place

JFTLOI for Deb’s FTD challenge: A Wild Goose Chase'
