The Definition of Hypocrisy
'Dear Fellow Citizens and Taxpayers,
Hypocrisy: The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness.
Part 1
Under a doctrine of 'fairness' and equality' the current administration and Congress continue to advance their agenda of healthcare reform. One of the proposed ways to pay for that system would be a tax on those with 'cadillac healthcare plans.'
In the world of the bizarre, it turns out some of those with 'cadillac healthcare plans' are the very people funding and supporting the administration and its objectives - unions.
So, now the administration is in a serious conundrum - remain principled and consistent in their rhetoric by applying this proposal to everyone (supporting their doctrine of 'fairness' and 'equality') or create an exception for these supporters destroying the very principle under which they use to justify the entire bill.
What did they do?
You know the answer to this. They chose the path of hypocrisy and gave exceptions to the unions.
Being on the left means never having to say your sorry.
