THE NEW MULTI PHRASE CHALLENGE

NO LONGER WILL A CERTAIN THEME BE REQUIRED BUT PLEASE READ THE NEW RULES ABOUT THE REQUIRED PHRASES. IF AN ENTRY DOES NOT COMPLY WITH CHALLENGE RULES IT WILL BE REMOVED WITHOUT NOTICE. IT IS ALSO NOW MANDATORY TO LIST THE PHRASES USED BELOW YOUR POEM. Please remember that if you enter this challenge it would be nice to read and comment on the other entries and please return to vote when the challenge closes.. thank you!
Only multi writes will be accepted (in other words, the required number of phrases MUST be used in the poem). You may use any style of poetry or prose, but all entries must comply with Starlite posting policies AND CHALLENGE RULES

You will be given FOUR phrases and your must choose AT LEAST THREE of them to use in the BODY of your poem, not in the title. (You can use one in the title but THREE MUST APPEAR IN THE BODY OF THE POEM. They must be used EXACTLY AS GIVEN except of course if an option is offered. Other than that the phrases CANNOT be altered in any way.

So let's go over that once more...
At least THREE OF THE FOUR GIVEN PHRASES MUST BE USED IN THE BODY OF THE POEM EXACTLY AS GIVEN. USING ONE OF THE PHRASES AS THE TITLE OF THE POEM DOES NOT COUNT AS USING THE PHRASE! AGAIN, THEY MUST BE IN THE BODY OF THE POEM! NO ALTERED PHRASES ARE ALLOWED.. Sometimes a phrase will give you options, however.

REMEMBER, IT IS ALSO NOW MANDATORY TO LIST THE PHRASES USED BELOW YOUR POEM. IF NOT LISTED THE ENTRY IS SUBJECT TO REMOVAL WITHOUT NOTICE.

The PHRASES for this challenge are as follows and remember you MUST list phrases used at the bottom of your poem and also remember YOU MUST USE AT LEAST THREE OF THE FOUR LISTED PHRASES BELOW IN THE BODY OF YOUR POEM.:

"scattered tears"

"a memory lingers"

"dreams remain"

"yesterday's words"

REMEMBER THERE IS NO LONGER A THEME

Only ONE poem per POET (NOT PEN NAME) will be accepted in this challenge. The challenge will close on the date and time listed above.

Again, any entry that does not comply with challenge rules OR Starlite policy will be removed WITHOUT NOTICE.

All poems entered must be open for all to view! This will allow all Starlite to vote fairly. If your poem is hidden it will not be considered for a win and WILL BE REMOVED WITHOUT NOTICE. Time to put your thinking caps on and let your creativity shine!
