I have been blocked from E-Mailing to my Starlite friends because I had sent them more than three, with no response. And that's not so. Besides a respectful person, I am highly professional in my ways of communicating. Could you fix this problem? Thanks in advance for what you may do. |

Hi Griveros. I had to do research on this one. I changed the limit to 5 consecutive messages per week to an individual user with no reply. In reading the instructions for the Discus program it states that this feature is to keep down harassment. The suggested setting was 2. The way the documentation sounded this limit is applied per individual not total emails. I couldn't find a way to override this setting for an individual user, so I changed it across the board. Thanks, Marvin. I know you have to protect people from harassment. All what I do basically is either posting comments or thanking for them if I'm the recipient. Should you know of anyone harassing by using Starlite mail facilities and upon an specific complain, stop him or her from entering these pages. I know how hard is to run a site like this and wouldn't ever want to be in your shoes. I can understand more than enough that some ( few ) people might seek Starlite to vent their frustrations, low desires or lack of intellectual judgement and thus I've seen it here and there. Therefore you do what you have to do as I respect your decisions. Thanks so much for your prompt answer, Marvin! |

About a month ago I wrote to the staff about changing my profile picture and parts of my profile itself. I have received no word back and I am still not able to change anything on my profile. I'd like to know when someone will get back to me with an answer to this issue. I don't feel it is too much to ask. I was told someone would get back to me in 48 hours and as you can see this did not take place. Thank you for any help or advice you can offer me. I truly would appreciate your help. |

I too have been trying with no luck to change profile picture and parts of profile information.
Am hoping for an answer soon.
