Hello all,
The first release of the Private Challenges has been launched. It will be rolled out in phases. In the first phase, our sponsors (yellow star of thanks) will be the only ones that can create Private Challenges. On their home page, they will see the Private Challenges created by their friends and an option to create their own Private Challenges.
Everyone else will see the Private Challenges created by their friends. They will be able to post a poem, vote on a winner (if the host has selected this option), etc, but will not be able to create their own challenge until phase 2.
If one of your friends has created a Private Challenge, try it out.
We will be monitoring the Private Challenge for any issues that may pop up. If you see something, feel free to create a Ticket for us.

A couple more additions has been made to private challenges.
1) You can designate whether you as the host of a private challenges wants to be notified of a new entry or not. If you check this box in the Private Challenge Create screen, then you will be notified any time someone submits a poem to your challenge. You will be notified of the poets' userid and the submitted poem title.
2) Your Private Challenges are now visible on the main challenge home page.

You can see any of the private challenges that your friends have created.

Private Challenges are now available to all Starliters. Do you want to give Starliters a challenge of your own making where you are the moderator. You decide the decision making criteria for the challenge. You decide whether a poem fits the critera or not. Well now you can... Check out Private Challenges
We will be monitoring the use of the Private Challenges and will be making adjustments along the way to make them work better.
