As some of you may have realized, some changes have occurred to the New Challenge area.
Indeed we are making some changes. Some would say that we are making them very fast. Still most things remain the same with just little adjustments here and there. Here are some of the changes and adjustments.
The first change you may have noticed is that Tinyteddy, (Bonnie) has voluntarily chosen to resign as moderator of several of the challenges. It was with reluctance and sadness that I accepted her decision. I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Bonnie for all she has done to make the challenges a success.
Brenda (Badmac) has taken a leave for personal reasons. We look forward to her return in the near future.
We have had to redistribute the moderating duties in the challenges. We have also made a few changes to the challenge line up.
For now I will be looking after the Anything Goes challenge,the Ten Word Challenge and if we continue with Question of the Month, I will do that also. As well I will continue with my duties as site admin.
Myrna will be moderating Songwriters Conservatory, Simplicity, which will be changing slightly to incorporate the former Fill In The Blank challenge…it will be called Simply Fill in the Blank. Myrna also will be moderating Word Painting.
Michael will be moderating Form Over Substance which includes; FOS Weekly Form, Free Verse, Anyform GOES.
Jade will continue with the Traditional challenge Catch the Soaring Star. Until Brenda returns I will set up these challenges for all who wish to play. I am a very busy gal these days so it will be up to the host of FTD and BTM to mail me if there are any problems in your hosting week.
We are taking under review the Brain Tease Challenge with the permissibility of incorporating it into ten word once a month.
The Tuning Up Challenge and Pick Your Theme Challenge are under review.
I want to personally thank you all for your patience and understanding as we make these changes to hopefully improve your experience here, and to help Starlite continue to be the best place to share your poetry!

Further to the changes being made at Starlite:
Effective immediately, The Starlife Cafe Forum Challenges of CTSS (Catch The Soaring Star), FTD (Follow The Dream), and BTM (Behind the Mask) will be discontinued. We regret any inconvenience. |
