Hello Fellow Poets/Poetresses!
This is an update regarding my sister, Susie.
The morning she was to have her brain surgery the doctor sent her home stating the 'white spot' on the X-rays they took the night before surgery had NOTHING showing on ANY of them! PRAISE GOD!
HER SURGERY WAS CANCELED AND THE DOCTOR SENT HER HOME! YAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!
I extend my 'thank you' to each and everyone of you who took the time to pray for Susie and who thought of praying for her but just ran out of time. I am much obliged.

*UPDATE
It's so true when one says: "When it rains, it pours!. I called Mom last night after watching the NC Panthers get beat up by those Sleepless in Seattle...sigh...anyhoo, Mom informed me Patty my little sister is in the hospital for an infected bladder and kidney. She has two kids. A boy who is in college studying to be a Shrink and a daughter who is a freshman in high school.
My sister Patty graduated from Mount Saint Mary's College in Brentwood, CA and finally has her Masters and now oversees The Headstart Program for the city of Los Angeles. She is very pretty and so sweet. I don't know why my sisters and I are having so many "Job Moments" lately?. Still, we love the Lord with all of our hearts, minds, souls and with all of our strengths. We also love our neighbors as ourselves.
My sister Susie is holding up as well as I am.
Also, please remember, Sue is to have her surgery on 31JAN06, on my birthday of all days...it kinda makes me sad in a way...never knowing what God has in store for us. Lord willing, He will see her through and heal her.
I had a massive flare up this weekend with Fibromyalgia...and a little good news, my leg is healing more and more as each day passes.
I praise God for all His countless blessings.
I want to thank each and every one of you for thinking of my sisters and I and adding us to your prayer lists. It's a blessing to know.
My sisters and I both appreciate your kindness and sister and brotherly agape love in Christ, our Lord.
I love you all!

Sweet friend I shall hold your sister up in prayer and join with all the others within our family poetry unit asking God to show mercy and compassion on Susie. You are going through a valley but Gods love is upon you and shall lead the way. I shall also be holding you up in prayer too as I know how stressful a time this must be. As for your leg hon I am so sorry to be getting this off to you so late but surely hope that you are doing much better now. Boy when troubles come .....they REALLY come huh? Love ~Jacie~

*UPDATE*...Mom called me last night and announced Susie has been rescheduled for surgery to be on 31JAN06 (My birthday)...I thank you for all your positive feedback and prayers. Also, Susie called me this morning and she sounds okay, still, she has and will always be a fighter, Lord willing.

Lifting her to the Lord right now . . . let us
pray the prayer of faith in agreement:
Gracious and Almighty Heavenly Father . . . we just praise
and thank you for inviting us into your presence to come boldly
to your throne of grace in order to obtain MERCY in our time
of need. We thank you that with YOU all things are
possible and that JESUS has taken those stripes upon HIS own
body for our healing.
Now we lift our angelsister, Susie, to you right now,
sweet Lord Jesus, asking you to bathe her in your oil of healing
and heal her from that cancer. We speak to that cancer
right now in the mighty name of JESUS CHRIST to
wither and die and LOOSE Susie right now, in the
mighty name of JESUS CHRIST.
Your Word tells us, Holy Father, IF two of you shall
agree as touching anything on earth; it will be done for
you by your Father in Heaven. We CLAIM this scripture
right now for Susie as we AGREE that she is cancer~free

against us shall prosper; any tongue that rises against us in

Mom will be calling me tonight to let me know how Susie is doing. Susie's surgery is scheduled for 24JAN06, Lord willing, so really, I won't know what the Lord will grant Susie until then...but in the meantime, we can all pray for her and lift her up to the Lord.
Lord have mercy...

We have lifted up our hearts to the Lord...
It is right to give Him thanks and praise...
For You alone are the Holy One...
You are our King, the Holiest of Holies...

Hey Linda,
I'm sorry you havnen't heard about my accident here at my home. Here is the story...
One early Sunday morning the sun was shining and skies were cloudless and painted in a soft blue.
I decided to put Mums on each side of my front door along with pumpkins because my daughter was coming home that day to go to church with me and I wanted her to feel a warm feeling when she arrived during the autumn season. Just as I was
carrying a terra cotta plant with Mums in them,
My right leg fell through a 3 1/2 inch wooden plank and the rest of my body stayed on top of the deck. I live along a river and have a home on stilts just to let you know so you can picture this in your mind. Anyhoo, I blacked out and when I came to, I yelled for help but no one seemed to hear me but God. I prayed ASAP and asked the Lord to pull my leg out of that small wooden plank...within a minute or so, my leg was being lifted up as if it had been lubricated and then I let out a sigh of relief when I turn my body and laid on my back and looked up to the Sun and saw the sign of the cross made out of the prisms of the sunlight. I knew then I was going to be okay for the most part. Then I heard the Lord (mentally) tell me to elevate my leg on the terra cotta planter that was next to me since it is a big one. My leg felt as if it was on fire at this point. I was rushed to ER and stayed there all day.....had surgery within a week and then had a Wound-Vac with a tube sticking into my leg with a four inch hole and my skin was blakened by the burns and discolored. My nerves endings were cut off both at the accident at the surgery so part of my left has NO feeling at all.
At the moment, I am still draining but am using gauze and another type of cotton pad over my stiches and wound. I'm glad I do not need to take Percocet any longer...and I thank the Lord
not a bone in leg, feet, or toes were broken.
I was just irked to pieces, well, livid, because it was the devil's snare that kept my daughter and I from going to church that Sunday (as we had planned for weeks for her to come home from college to go to church together) and ironically, we both ended up in the ER all day.
Now part of my leg is dead and part of my knee and my right foot doesn't feel the same as the other foot. I have an appt. in about five weeks for a follow up. Praise be to God I didn't have a blood clot build up on me.

Oh Capri, how awful this is. But you know the power of the Starlite prayer chain. I will life Susie up in prayer and pray that He will guide the surgeon's hands to get all of this tumor.

Dear Starliters,
Greetings to all. I hope when you read this posting you are in good health and in fine spirits. I am still recovering from my leg accident and I thank the Lord, I didn't lose it.
I come before you today with a prayer request for my eldest sister, Susie. She had an MRI done and was told she has a tumor in her head that needs to be taken out. Her surgery has been scheduled for 24JAN06, Lord willing. She has two daughters that are in college who love my sister very much as she does them. My sister also has an A+ personality and has done many works for charities in The City of The Angels (Los Angeles). My sister has worked hard to make a house a beautiful home for both her precious hubby and daughters...she has worked hard all of her life to be the best she could be as a wife, mother, daughter, sister and a all other extended family members and then she has always been deeply devoted to her childhood friends she is still in touch with to this day. She has always been attentive to all and brings out the best in one.
I am so distraught over this matter. *Sniffles*
I lifted her up to our heavenly Father last night soon after Mom called and told me the sad news.
I love my sister SO much and it's so hard on me when I can't see her but maybe once a year or sometimes every two years, being I live in NC and she lives in CA.
Please if you will, join me in prayer, and lift up the name of my sister Susie to our most divine Father in heaven who is the Alpha and the Omega.
Heavenly and eternal Father,
I come before thee with a prayer for the salvation of my sister, Susie. You know all of our needs before we do, this I know, dear Lord. Today, I come to you in prayer to ask you to surround your many angels around Susie so they can put your armor on her to protect Susie from the devil's snares.
Holy almighty, Father, please place your hand over my sister Susie's head and take away that tumor, dear Lord. She is far too young to go. So many love her and she has always acknowledged you, heavenly Father.
~I love you, Lord. And I lift my voice.
To worship you. O' my soul...rejoice.
Take pride my King. In what you hear.
Let it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear.~
Lord your are all omnipotent and are our everlasting light of peace and love...I ask thee, o' Lord, to comfort Susie and bless her with your miraculous healings.
I bow down to you my God, my King, with a humble heart... may all desire to join to me in prayer and lift my sister's name up to you, Lord.
All these things I ask through your precious and one and only Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
