I'm very sorry to learn about Frank's ailments.

Please know you'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
In the very last chapter of James, it says if someone is sick they should be annointed with oil.
I believe in this blessing along with prayer and fasting. May the Lord our God place His right hand upon Frank and heal him.

Aww Marm I am so sorry. I was so hopeing that you folks could start fresh and that Franks surgery would turn out a success. I KNOW what a private person you are so to come to the forum and tell us all of this news has got to be so painful for you sweetie. A lot of prayers will continue winging their way to heaven I am most certain. Dear Friends,
After arriving at the hospital on Tuesday, the Dr. informed us, he was going to give it a
2nd, go around and try to open the blocked vain,with angioplasty one more time.
It saddens me to have report that the second angioplasty procedure within two weeks did not work.
It appears that the vain attached to the artery is much to small to insert a balloon
into it, which allows the vain to be blown up enough to keep it open.
Therefore, Frank must see a vascular surgeon,and we will proceed from there.
My dear poet friends please continue to keep us in your prayers.

Marmee, I must have still been asleep when I commented on this early this morning. Somehow I got it in my head that this was a combination note from both you and AliceAnn. I really feel stupid but I want you to know that I am praying for both you and Frank and have been for quite a while. I add my prayers to everyone elses for Frank. I am so sorry that this is happening to him and to Marmee. I know from experience what a tole dialysis takes on not only the person that is sitting in the chair but the family member that sits beside it because of the many things that can happen in a matter of seconds durring the treatment.
Marmee and Frank, my prayers go with you durring this time and always. It is a long road the two of you walk. Praying that the surgery is sucessful. My mother still after two years has her access at her chest. They have had to replace it once and tried to also put it in her arm but her veins are much too small for it to be placed anywhere else.
Please know that I realize this world of dialysis is far from pleasant even when things go as it is intended.

We ask you, precious Lord, to be that present help in trouble for Frank and for Marmee they so
desperately need. Your Word is forever settled in Heaven and earth which declares: NO weapon that is formed against you shall prosper. Any
tongue that arises against you in judgment, you
shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their righteousness of
of me, saith the Lord. We curse this enemy that
has come against our brother, Frank, and condemn it in Jesus' mighty name.
We ask you Holy Father, to strengthen Frank and
cause his faith to be stronger than ever, in the

My thoughts and prayers are with Frank and with you Marmeee. I am so sorry to hear this and I can only imagine what a burden and hardship this is. I pray that the Lord will lift you up and sustain you during this time and that somehow they are able to help Frank so the dialysis can begin to cleanse his bloodstream.

I have received this email from our Marmee and she has requested prayer via my email back to her and another back to me. Saying it is NOW time to start praying. So if you would please.... as we near the end of this somewhat AWFUL April for our Starlight family squeeze just one more prayer request in. THANKS ~Jacie~
Date: Thu, Apr 27, 200 Subject: A note from Marmee
I am not working due to Frank, not being well...
Frank's dialysis is not going well....
His dialysis Doctor informed us that
the fistula( the vain) that Frank, receives his dialysis through is blocked and the blood
flow is weak .. meaning Frank's blood is being cleaned less then one percent during
his dialysis treatments, which is not good.
So, we went to Rochester, last Monday, to have
angioplasty done on Frank's fistula. At last Wednesday
dialysis treatment, the thrill ( flow of blood) was still very weak
The angioplasty did not help. Yesterday, 4/26/04, at dialysis
the Nurse ran more tests to see what percentage of Frank's blood was
being cleaned and the results were worse then the week before.
Frank, now needs to have surgery again to open another site for him to receive
his dialysis through. I pray this works....
I need not tell how depressed my husband is
at this time, and I fear he will one day tell me, he refuses to receive
any more of his dialysis treatments.
I have taken time of from work, till after Frank's surgery on Tuesday
May 2nd.
