Sorry I`ve not been able to get back here to update this.Our prayers were answered and maria did not need the surgery.Praise The Lord !! Thanks to each of you for the many prayers ,Mary and I and her daughter and family truely appreciate your kindness.I`m not sure what it was but they drained the fluid and it turned out that it was not blood and she does not have to have surgery on it ,so thank you all again and God Bless each of you.Hugs Dorothy |

I just read a poem Mary had posted in regards to this. Am feeling mighty upbeat now to learn of this news. Yet that spinal tap (which I do believe Maria had) is a very painful proceedure to have to go through. My grandaughter Erika who has Cinca Nomids syndrome (rare genetic disorder) has had well over 30 of them in her young life. NOW I am very curious to see what Marias doctor thinks that this is. Another update on Maria,We have some good news for now,I just talked with Mary and she said Maria had a test done today where they somehow took fluid from the spine and they said they do not believe the fluid is blood,they have sent it off to see what it is but the doctor said that if it is not blood ,she may not need the surgery.Praise the Lord,We are praying that she will not need the surgery,please continue to pray for her.She did not have to have the MRI ,they did this test instead.I will keep you updated,She and Mary and myself would like to send a special thank you out to everyone who is praying.Hugs to all.Dorothy |

OH DOTTIE!!! I am so sorry to hear this news about Maria. You all have been throuh so much and it devestates me to know that more is happening within your family circle. I can only imagine how our sweet sister Mary is feeling and being so far way in distance form Maria must be extremely upsetting to her. I am thankful that the doctors got her into the hospital when they did. All of this sounds so frightening. Please believe me when I tell you that your request for prayer will not go unanswered. I will light a candle this night and kneel in prayer for Maria and also her family and Mary as well as aunt Dorthy.God be with all of you. Love ~Jacie~

I am continuing to pray for Maria, and for Mary. This is so frightening and to operate so close to the brain or on it. But I know that Dr's can do so many things now days. And the Lord answers prayers, we have seen so many Miracles, HE never fails.

I have just had an update on Maria(Marys Daughter),they have set up test and she will have to have surgery,they are doing an MRI and another test first to find out more about what is going on,then they will set up the surgery.They said most of the blood seems to be coming from the right side of the brain. Please keep her in your prayers,She means a lot to me also,Mary and I are very close and Maria is a special neice to me,We`ve been really close all through the years.We`ve had so much lately in the family and your prayers have been answered many times for us and we appreciate our starlite family holding us up in prayers.God Bless you all.Hugs Dorothy |

Sister Dottie, please let our dear Mary know that Tip and I are thinking about her and her dear daughter! The family has been through so much this year already...we pray that the Lord heals what ever is wrong...

Please pray for (Just Little Me )Mary`s daughter,she had a head scan yesterday and they called this morning and told her to go straight to the hospital,they found blood around her brain,Mary is very upset and called and asked me to post this if I could.Mary dos`nt live near her and can just wait on a phone call to see what`s going on.Marys the prayer angel here at starlite and now she and her daughter needs our prayers.Thanks God Bless you all.Libra |
