Hey Albert, Talk about thinking of you constantly...Grandson was here. (He's just 7) He read me a story...THE LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD

Some posting in this thread may not have read the other thread in which Albert posted about his illness. I have had several emails asking me what is wrong with Albert.
Albert has decided to be very open about his illness. We will be talking most frankly with you about it. Albert has lung cancer. We will know more about what stage and type later in the week.
Keep the prayers and fellowship of friendship coming. We need you all very much right now!

Dearest Albert,
Such a humble friend we have in you and I'm praying dutifully for you. Take all the time you need sweet friend and that includes you TESS! The moderators as well. I just wanted to let you know that you are doing all you can.
My prayers are with you at this time and always will be. Remain strong, starlite is here loving you as much as possible. Because Albert and Tess you are what makes this site run and this I must give you alot of credit for. And of course the Sponsors. (sorry everyone).

Well Albert I am so glad your tests went well--and I know from very recent experience that they are not tops in the fun list. I just hope and pray you got some better drugs than I did--fortunately mine was regular pneumonia and only lasted like a week. I will continue sending up prayers and all the good karma I can for a speedy recovery.
Thanks Tess for the updates and letting the extended family know how things are going!
Now if poor Albert will just rest and take them drugs--otherwise I might hafta put on the kilt and put in an appearance---LOL!
PS---I've been told I got nice legs--

Hi Albert, Just wanted to say good morning and let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Glad to hear things are looking up. Listen to your doctors and to us. You are loved and we need you well. Please rest, relax, stop worrying and know that we will be here and do our very best to keep the Cafe ship shape. You need to take care of you. You have done all of us and the world an awesome service by establishing this cafe. None of us can ever really thank you enough. We owe you. Hey my dear friend, one of the things I have found in life to be true, aside from prayer of course, is when life closes in on us, when stress hits home, one of the best reliefs I know is to write about it. You don't necessarily have to publish it, but sometimes that helps others as well, to say the least, it gets it on the outside instead of gnawing away at your guts. You know, we all know, stress is the root cause of many a problem. Okay? Enough from Annie, sermon over. Know that you are loved and in my prayers. Take care my friend. I wish you enough. I have just now read this as I am way behind on reading because of upcoming surgery. That's not to say I've forgotten anyone here.

I'm so sorry to learn about our dear friend, Albert. I read your most recent update stating his test went well and he still is ill and needs plenty of rest. My thoughts and prayers are with Albert. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Tess. ((Hugs))
