I post this final update on my mom with a very heavy and sad heart.

Due to the condition my mother was found in they can not give a day or }time of death nor will they be able to. Her body was found 10/02/06 at 6:02 pm. I have authorized to have her cremated per her wishes. This will be done Thursday or Friday. I will be doing a small service in the park area of the complex she lived in so that her neighbors can say goodbye. I would like to then try to fly home w/ the Urn to WI for a real service, so that family and friends there can pay respects. I think my mom would want that.

Again thank you so much to all of my mom's starlite family. You all meant more to her than most of you will ever know.

*hugs*

Janna

note: those wishing to send a donation please email me w/ donation in the subject line. I will be making a fund to fly home to WI for the service anything I would recieve over that I would donate to the national psoriasis foundation on behalf of my mother.

My deepest sympathies to Anita's family. She was very gifted writer and a sensitive person. I enjoyed our many emails back and forth last year, and have lots of wonderful memories about "Syble" and her family of Ducks. Even now it's hard not to smile when I think of back. Please know that all involved will remain in my prayers. hugs, Lisa

Janna,
I loved your mom for the wonderful lady she was...I had sent her a CD player and some of my husband's CDs...I never did find out if she was able to listen to them, but I know she is listening to heavenly music right now. Here is the poem I have written for her:

You are in my prayers...

Anita, Renee and Me

(By Lewis Findley

Prelude - this is not about RainSpirit Renee whom I met here at website, this is about another renee who lives in the midwestern USA, If Im not mistaken, I believe our Rain SPirit lives in Toronto.)

On Occasion Anita would talk about the many things I did with Graphics at starlite.
Sometiems she would call me "Fun With Graphics" :-)
But I want all here to know this, my poetry was no more poetic, than, for instance, Tribet, Howard Pratt in PA, WHo writes almost exclusively plain black text on plain white background. AND with whom I have had a disagreement or 2 in the past. But this is not about Howard, YET If he has a word or 2 to say about this, he is free to do so. If not, well 6 one way, 1/2 dozen the other as we in Georgia say. I consider myself an artist, but also I consider Howard and both Renees such, as I considered and will always consider Anita.
One time a long while back, Albert got some bad info on me saying that I had ill speech about rain spirit. I apologized, and also explained to him the situation, he saw it wsa a misunderstnading, and As best I knw Rain Spirit is still my canadian poet friend. Yet as for the other renee, in the midwest, I told her, very discretely once upon a time, that I am NOT starlites most well behaved poet. I told anita some of the details bout this convo with renee. And I talked with renee on the phone , asked her if she got my letter, "Yes, Lewis" She said
"I cannot tell you how I cried, either. I know in my heart Lewis, that there isnt a soul on the face of this earth you would ever hurt on purpose without there being a legitimate reason to do so. You have shown me yoru heart, and it is truly beautiful. You're just a hell of an acotr Lewis, you ought to get an academy award. " I wrote a poem about this a long time ago, this pertains to albert and my misunderstnding about rain spirit,
but back to anita, Anita , met ma, please show grandma and Janice the graphics and poens i wrote here and still am doing so, and I'll see yall when I can.

God Bless you
