The sun was shining and the weather was beautful as Jeremys family and friends gathered to bid their final farewells to this much loved young man. I felt as if I had known him a lifetime as I was introduced to many. A very proud granmda (OUR MARY) led me to the lovely collage of pictures showing how tight a family unit they had as cousins gathered around Jeremys coffin and sobbed. A mothers heart was breaking and I and my husband (who also went with me) had a most difficult time holding back our own tears. The minister gave one of the most touching eulogies I have ever heard. And the honor guard who payed their respects over his flag drapped coffin left with me goosebums.Our Miss Mary is every bit of the wonderful lady that I knew she would be. And the flowers sent by Tess, Albert and the Starlite family were gorgeous. My dear friends I ask that you please continue to pray Jeremys family as they truly will miss him. Their sobs and family unit surely showed me that he was loved beyond words. ~Jacie~

Our Miss Mary sent a message to Denny saying...
Today the visitation is at 5pm. the service is at 2pm tomorrow afternoon at Redmond funeral home at 4100 Westnedge Ave in Kalamazoo MI.
She asked him if he would send the information to me and others.I know that Jacie already told us when the funeral is, but I thought I would give the time and place as Mary asked Denny to do.
My continued prayers and love are with you and your family Mary.

Jacie, I am so glad that you are able to be there with Mary. How I would love to do the same. I was just wondering how she was doing when I got online, and there is your message. If you think of it, give her a hug for me and remind her that she and her family are in my prayers also.
May the Lord be with her in a special way at this sad and difficult time.

I have been in touch with Mary. Although sad over the loss of her grandson she is holding up. The funeral for Jeremy is Thursday near Kalamazoo. It's about an hour and a half from where I live. And I have made plans to attend. My work schedule has been given to another lady who does housecleanig with me. Aliceann, Melissa, and Denny I will give those hugs to Mary from you just as you have asked me to do. I will give our Mary a big group hug from all of you who have been so kind to leave words of condolences on this thread. Please keep your prayers going as this is going to be such a heavy loss to her and her family. With love ~Jacie~

Mary, I am deeply sorry for your loss honey. Words cannot express how this saddens me. Was and still is hard for me to accept when I lost my 20 yr old grandson last year....My condolences to you and your family...If you need to talk I am here3...Love, Sherry

This is such a traggedy. And I can assure you Mary is besdie herself. Jeremy was loved deeply by Mary and this is going to be a great loss to her.I have no idea as to where here in my state this traggedy took place but it is my understanding that Mary will be arriving here for the funeral. If anyone knows please forward me the info so as I may be able to get to see her if close enough to my city. This news has rocked my world tonight and I cannot ell you how badly my heart breaks for her. Melissa thanks for posting this as I was just about ready to do so myself. I got a note sent to me, and it is with a sadness in my heart that I tell you, she has lost her beloved grandson Jeremy, who was 20 years old in a tragic accident.
Please everyone, keep her in your thoughts and prayers, it is going to be a very hard time for them all. They will be headed up to Michigan this morning.
