Dear Rose I am thrilled to read the great news regarding Teds tests.Lord knows you folks have been on my mind and in my prayers since your email to me asking about my hubby. I am so pleased to learn that he is going to be ok. Non the less I am going to ask God to keep on eye on him and you too dear one. As you realy did have quite the scare. Dear Rose Marie,
I have been away from the computer all day and I am so thankful that the news is good for your husband. I am so sorry that you are so ill. My prayers still remain with both of you, especially that you will get some relief for your pain and that your blood pressure will rise.
We miss you, but understand that you need to take care of yourself and your husband. If there is anything I can do, besides prayers, drop me a line.

Hello my dear sweet Rose. I must have missed
your note when it came out but saw Ruby's first
today. We are just all happy that at least
some things are going well for your husband. May
God heal him so that he can once again be well
and live his life. I am so sad to hear that you
are having problems but honey I can surely under-
stand. Please take care of yourself. I think
we have tried not to fill your mailbox up knowing
you are not well. God works in mysterious ways
His miracles to perform. I will be praying that
there is a miracle in the making for you and
your family. You have had so much to suffer
through. Remember that we all love you. Just

You may consider putting him on Saw Palmetto that has been used for years to shrink an enlarged prostate, and also Omega 3's which help lower the psa numbers. You can find these at your local Health Food Store. God bless, Patricia |

I am rejoicing with you about your husband's good report and I shall keep him in my prayers. And you too my friend, I shall be lifting you up to the Lord, that is pretty scary that you came so close to calling too late. I am glad that once again the Lord was there, watching over you and I know He will not fail. I shall keep you in my thoughts and prayers and hurry back when you can.

Hello friends and family,
Please forgive me for being so long on getting back to you with an update on my Husband. Because of your love, Prayers and support the news is good, as a matter of fact, very good. The biopsies came back negative for prostate cancer. He was cleared with nothing more than an infection which is being treated with an antibiotic. He was told however, that he is a good candidate for cancer to occur at a later time because of the PSA and enlargement of the prostate gland. His numbers are still very high so will have to be monitored closely every six months. Thank you for your friendships and Prayers during this very worrisome time.
I am very ill and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital over the weekend and was nearly bottomed out with my BP, if I waited just 20 more minutes I would have needed a breathing tube. I won't go into all the details but just wanted you to know that I'm not ignoring any of you, I'm just trying to get well...
Will be in touch soon I hope as I really need to write something...My muse is begging...

My Dearest Rose Marie.....I am so sorry to hear about what is happening to Ted, and that Fran continues to have problems. I will keep you, Ted, and Fran in my prayers, along with your family.

Jeri, thanks so much for posting this as I just couldn't bring myself to do it just yet...Thank you for always being there too...
Some of you read my poem, "Uncertainties" and knew there was something between the lines. Some of you emailed me and others I told.
The poem stems from a visit my Husband had with his Doctor on Christmas Eve. He has been back and forth several times since then. There is a very strong possibility of prostate cancer. The normal range in the PSA numbers is anything below 4 and my Husband's is 10.9 which is very high.
More tests need to be done before we know for sure. We had to see the urologist today for another consult and the biopsies are scheduled for Jan.12th. The following week we will have the results. The doctor said that he may not have cancer but chances are pretty definate that he does. He asssured us that if positive results are found it can be treated successfully if they caught it soon enough, they are pretty confident that chances are good in that respect...Also, he may have a problem with his heart so a stress test has been scheduled as well for next week.
I am scheduled for a second hip replacement in March because I can
barely walk the pain is so bad. They can do nothing for my back but hope the hip replacement may help with that. I may postpone it until we know what is going on with Ted, my husband.
My Brother Fran is dwindling away from the many health problems he has so I am a tad bit overwhelmed....When it rains it pours..I just wish I had answers...Hence the poem, "uncertainties"...
We will get through it though, one day at a time....
I appreciate every one of you more than words can say...Thank you so much.

Well gang it looks as if this new year is starting off with the kind of bang we really do not like to see. But God has all under control no matter how many times we come to this forum and ask for prayer GOD will listen. When Albert named this the Starlite cafe he gave it a good name I mean how much closer can one be to God other than the stars in the sky?
We are all those stars when we pray for one another. And you bet I will be saying many more prayers for Rosemarie and now her hubby. STAY STONG ROSIE....... your faith will see all this through. Love ~Jacie~

Well dang. If it isn't just one thing, it's another for our lovely RoseMarie.
Now it's her beloved husband.
He was to go today for more testing - she said he had been going to Dr's for days and that Tuesday (today) he was to do a stress test for they think he has some heart issues and also he has to have a biopsy - they are afraid that he might have prostrate cancer.
Rosie, sweetie, I'll be praying for him just as hard as I can. And I know that your Starlite "Angels" will be praying right along with me.
