You remain a dear friend and I am so glad to see you back. As for AOL I know that both Donna and Lesa have had their share of troubles with them. There are times when I am mighty happy to have this lil ol web tv system. Hugs and love ya ~Jacie~

Linda Welcome back .... Your problem is not Starlite members its AOL... They are constantly doing what I refer to as "PUTTING ME IN THE NAUGHTY CHAIR" when they return mail I send with the message of no such address... I myself am getting close to being forced to remove all AOL addresses from my web mail list. Just getting to be too much trouble to attempt to send mail out to AOL customers... And you are right the problem is never theirs that is why I left them many years ago...

Oh sweetie, you have not been forgotten. Believe me I know how frustrating computer problems are and arn't two year old's wonderful! LOL Joseph never seems to find anything to get rid of that doesn't matter. I had forgotten our two was so close in age. Joseph will be two the 3rd of March.
I don't get here nearly often enough these days myself, and it is easy to let yourself get into a mind set that no one really cares, especially when life is trying to beat up on you. I think that it is only human nature and yet there is that little voice that keeps reminding us that WE ARE CARED FOR by our friends at Starlite as you can plainly see by all that have welcomed you back with open arms.
If you are looking for something especially Email me and I will see what I can come up with. So many of my writes are void of music and illustrations because of loosing them to the signature sites that I have kind of quit going to them. I do have a number of things saved to my personal files so just drop me a note.
Glad to see you back with us. Waiting for a link.

Hi all of my Starlite friends and family. It seems I have been gone forever. I want to try to explain why. For nearly a year and a half, I was unable to send mail to too many domains to mention. It started out with Yahoo and Hotmail and just kept growing from there until there was hardly anyone I could send mail or links to, even though I had bulk mailing priveleges with AOL. I had to open a hotmail account just to be able to keep in touch with friends and family. I spent countless hours with AOL techs who all wanted to blame it on something other than what it really was--an AOL problem!! At about the same time, the challenges changed from the weekly three (form, 10-word, and phrase) to so many that I was overwhelmed trying to decide which one to try and write for with my limited time. All of this became so depressing that I just stopped writing at all for about a year.
During this time I noticed that one by one, people stopped sending me links, even though I had not requested to be taken off of anyone's list. It seems once out of sight, out of mind too, which further depressed me. I also had a lot going on at home and at work, too.
Then, as suddenly as the e-mail problem had occured, it just went away (in other words, AOL finally fixed whatever the %@$#%#$ was wrong with their mailing system). I am able to send mail to anyone again, though now people are having trouble sending to me!! It just goes on and on.
To make a long story short and get to my request, a certain little munchkin in my house who turned 2 a few months ago was allowed to play in my room unsupervised while I was at work and he managed to ruin the disk that contained all of my graphics and also information for imbedding pictures and music when I post poetry (the codes that are used). That was a real downer, as I had hundreds of graphics on that disc that I can no longer access. I can get back a lot of them by copying them off of my posted poetry, but that is so time-consuming. What I am asking for here is that if anyone has these codes for pics and for music, and I know I sent them to a lot of you, would you please send them to me at GramLin99@aol.com AND @hotmail.com (to make sure I receve them)? I would appreciate it SO much. I have written a few things in the past few days that I would like to post, and I probably will post them without graphics, but I sure would like to be able to add pics and music like I used to do.
Thanks in advance. And, one more thing . . . I really miss all my fellow poets and wish I could get some of your links again.
