thank you all so much, my uncle got to go home earlier today. he is on 8 types of pills for the rest of his life. now it is up to him to make good on the second chance he has been given.

I just found this thread and am only now starting prayers, but please know they are no less sincere or well meaning, may the damage mend slowlyand he adhere to the new lifestyle well .My prayers are with you.

I had a heart stent put in two years ago so know he will be fine if he follows Doctor's orders...

Uncle Kenny is out of surgery now. He has a 99% blockage in one artery, so they put a spint in. The other artiers were good, and he did have some heart damage. So far so good. Thanks for your prayers.

The doctor was standing over my uncles bed when he woke up this morning. He told him I am gonna be honest with you. He has a lot of heart damage, that he is going to have to change his lifestyle, no more drinking, no more fried foods, everything is to be grilled or baked, no more being around smoke. Surgery tomorrow for heart cauterization, and they will try to repair what they can.

Please continue to pray for him, and my family.
And remember that tomorrow, my mom is also having surgery!

I surely know just what he is going through
Melissa as I had the heart attack before having
the triple by pass. We must remember it is not
only men having these heart attacks. It is the
number one killer of women now as well. And it
shows up differently in a woman than it does a
man. Everyone needs to be familiar with what
symptoms may happen. EVERYONE ~ What we can do
now Melissa is put him in the hollow of God's

Oh sweetie I sure will be praying for your uncle Kenny. Has he ever had a heart attack before? Isn't it just like a man not to want to call the paramedics? It was a massive heart attack, but they wont know the extent of it until Monday.

He was stable all through the night and they are doing more tests today. They told me how thankful they are for your prayers. My uncle being the man he is, told my aunt not to call 911 for the EMS because it costs to much, so she drove him the 10 miles to the hospital.

Just heard back from my mom and dad, his BP is 170 over 102 and they were giving him meds to bring it down, nitro pills and something to help him sleep. And the doctor send everyone home,

I spoke to my mom at 10 PM and he was in his room, my dad and my aunt Sandy was with him waiting on the heart doctor. He is stable for now. I will give an update when I have one.
Thanks so much for your prayers for my Uncle.
I think this is the wake up call that he needs.
