I pray Albert he finds the PEACE and Warmth and Miracles that can still appear! Tess! YOu are a flying Giving Angel, being everywhere and shareing so openly with us all here at Starlight!

Good on the treatment front Albert, well done my friend. :-D
On the food front me and my wife recently purchased a Smoothie maker and it is certainly one of the best buys we've ever made. Sling in all kinds of goodies, fruit and so and hey presto a wondrous thirst-quenching and nutritious drink. I hope you've got one of these around and that it helps your days.

Come on Albert, if they let you have a chocolate or pineapple or just plain vanilla one instead and how about a litle juice to change things up a little, The next step is like baby food, that will be simple put you food through a food processor until it resembles a shake , not the same but the taste will be there, still praying for a complete recovery, Hang in there hero! ruby. |

Albert I am so very happy that there is positive response to the treatments which is the most important thing... This gives me such happy feet
My friend I just know your going to have plenty of time to be eating those steaks and next year this time you will probably be joining me on the South Beach Diet to get all those steaks off... LOL Trust me the pounds go on much quicker and easier than they come off.. My friend U take care of U and know that you and Tess are in the hearts and prayers of so so many.

am so happy for you Albert about that. God is
good. He is so good that I just know He will
heal the swallowing problem as well. I can
imagine how terrible that must be. Now, if it
was chocolate shakes ~ yum, yum. Strawberry
would be fine if they had run out of chocolate.

We are very sorry to hear about Albert's condition. He will remain in our prayers.We would like to share some recently learned information with you. Per my mother's new speech therapist; the lawyer's have been extremly involved in hospitals/outpatient services for swallowing evaluations. MOST of them will automatically fail the patient so that their family will not sue them for malpractice.It is easier for them to say that you will never eat again than to send you home with guidelines to live by and therapy to attend, but it is worth it to get a second opinion from someone different than the therapists in the hospitals. Had we not done that, my mother would have never eaten again. Now following strict meal plans and daily voice exercises she is taking baby steps towards eating again. It may never go back to the way it was but it will increase her quality of life and that is all that matters.Let us know if we can help in any way. Lisa Spencer..(Bubbys daughter) |

Dearest Mr. Albert,
I think of you often throughout the day and I raise you up to our Father in heaven. I pray one of the Rabbi's has been by each day to bring you the word of God and ask the Holy Spirit to shower you with our Father's healing and many blessings.
You know what, Albert? I love-ove-ove Strawberry shakes! Yes, sir, buddy, I do. But you know what else? I can't drink Strawberry shakes much at all. I'm a female and these shakes are not good for women's hips and thighs.....*sigh*...I'm be green with envy thinking of you being in hog heaven drinking up them strawberry shakes. Oh, Albert, I know it's so very hard to endure this trial and tribulation....but despite it all...continue to aknowledge our Father in heaven so that He may free you of the chains upon you. I still have the picture of the Strawberry shortcake and that big 'ol steak. Just say the word and I will post them back up. In the meantime, oh, what the heck. You've been plenty good. I'm going to continue posting the steak and the strawberry shortcake until you can chew all you want and plunge deep into the sugary strawberry cake. (((((Mr. Albert Victor))))

Thanks so much Tess for your update. Wish it was all good news but like you said we'll take whatever good news we can get and run with it. And even though he still cannot eat solid food it will happen all in good time. It will make the food taste even better. You are one mighty tuff fella Albert and as long as you need the prayers we'll all be saying them for you. Keep on believing and don't let any doubts or fears set in. Thank you once again Tess for the update on Albert. I rejoice that the effect of the new cancer treatment is good. And pray that soon Albert can get back to eating those things he enjoys. Albert and Tess, I don't think anyone would say you two don't think of others, your daily lives show otherwise. God bless you both, I love you dearly and my prayers continue daily.

Hello Starlite family!
Albert had good news and bad today. The good news first. The doctor was very pleased with the effect the new cancer treatment was making. This is wonderful news!
The bad news is that Albert did not pass his swallow test today. He doesn't get to go back to solid food. They may need to put in a shunt or do a little surgery before he gets his steak. That will mean at at least a couple of days back in the hospital.
But, as I told Albert tonight, let's take any good news we get and run with it! He will just have to live on strawberry shakes for a bit longer!
Albert thanks you all for your continued prayers and friendship! I want you to know that he does come in here and read.
So, keep your prayers coming for him! And Albert and I send our prayers to all of the people at the site in need. Even though Albert has been having a bit of a tough time, it doesn't mean we don't have time to stop and think of others.
