Tess,
I have been on this site,for a couple of weeks now and I must say that I love it. It is the loveliest place on the internet.I keep coming back. I usually keep my 2 cents to myself and stay out of forums. But I keep reading about Albert. I assume he was dearest to you. I also assume he stated the cafe. I hate to ask questions, but I am curious. I gather that he got sick and that he died. For that I am sorry. Sorry for you and all of the poets on here who must have loved him dearly. Maybe you should add a Tribute page link on the home page and tell about him and his vision. I personally find myself wanting to know everything about him.

It was very good to hear that Albert's family found comfort through the words of Starliters Tess. As Mary Anne said they are clearly a beautiful family.

It is nice to know that we were there for Albert, when he needed us the most. I think he and his family all know with that last final gift from our hearts how much we loved and missed him. I still have a hard time writing right now. I don't know where to begin. He touched us all in so many ways! |

Thank you Tess for this message. If we could bring even a touch of comfort to Albert's family, it would be little in the way of gratitude for what they loaned us for awhile in the form of their loving son.

Thank you Tess for posting this, I am touched to know that our words blessed and comforted friends and family of Albert's. I was just telling one of my neighbors about him and how many, many lives he touched by the dream he had. My prayers continue for his family.

Albert will forever be our bright and shining star that watches over Starlite.
Thank you Tess for the message from his parents. I am glad that they found comfort to see how much Albert was loved by all of us and the tremendeous blessing his dream has given to a world that most certainly needs every piece of good it can get.

HE WAS THE SPECIAL MAN THAT HE BECAME. I AM

Albert's step mom and his father called me this evening. They asked me if I could please post something on their behalf in thanks and gratitude to all of you.
They wanted to thank you all for the lovely tributes you left for Albert at this site, and in the Chicago Tribune. They were just totaly amazed by the expression of love and were so touched to know that Albert means so much to people all around the world. They said that many friends and family found great comfort in reading your words of condolence.
As Albert's step mom said, it is so hard to believe it has only been three weeks. It seems like an eternity since Albert moved along. I know he is here with us all in spirit.
Thank you again personally, for all you did to show your respect and love for our dear friend.
