Thank you, Donna. Both Ken and I appreciate your thoughts and prayers. He took it easy this weekend. He told the doctor this past Friday his chest has sharp pains from time to time. The doctor told him it was to be expected and not to worry.

I, on the other hand, nearly had to have a blood transfusion.

Please continue to keep both us in your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate it greatly.

Take care and be well and God bless,
Ken and MoNi

My Dear Starlite Friends,

Thank you ever so much for your warm thoughts and prayers. Both Ken and I need them. He came home from work yesterday evening with pallor skin and
I asked him if he was all right and he confessed he felt very tired and had to rest. I looked at his hands and they looked discolored and I became worried. I prayed fervently last night. I pray our Father in heaven will hear our prayer in healing Ken from his heart ailment.

Once again, thank you everyone who has prayed for us or who has had us on their mind sending positive thoughts our way. We greatly appreciate your warmth and love.

Hugs and love,
Capri

Capri and Ken,

My thoughts and prayers go up for both of you.
Sorry it has taken so long, but I'm not on much
myself.

The Lord will guide you and give you the strength
to endure and overcome. I read an article which
has now become my own Mantra:

"If you are breathing, there is still HOPE".

Hang on to those words and believe that through
it all God is still in control.

Hugs,
Sheila

Please keep Ken in your thoughts and prayers.
Yesterday was his first day back to work.
He said he did fine until mid-afternoon when he got a little dizzy.

Thank you one and all prayer warriors!

Hugs and love,
MoNi

Thank you for all your good wishes and fervent prayers. Today, Ken and I ventured into town.
By the time we returned home his skin was pallor and his hands were a little purple. I had him sit down. He is stubborn and thinks life goes on as if he never had two heart attacks back to back...he thinks he is Paul Bunyon or Grizzly Adams...He is having a hard time giving up his cancer sticks...I thank God Ken is not yelling or in a bad mood over giving up smoking.

Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Love and hugs,
Ken and MoNi in eastern coastal NC

I just wanted you to know capri that you are in my heart and prayers. I am glad that it sounds as if Ken has made it home, and I am also glad that it sounds as if you have good friends and neighbors that pop in on the two of you to make sure you are OK. Please be sure to take care of you as well.

Prayers for both,
Lesa

Hey there Lady Capri~ I just wanted to let you know that I am still keeping ya'all in my prayers!
When I was little,I used to believe in the concept of one best friend, and then I started to become a woman. And then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up,God would show you the best in many friends.

Dear Fellow Starliters:

I thank you once again for all your beautiful comments. I am not through reading each and everyone of them. Last night, Ken and I were reading through some but we both tired quickly.

I believe Ken is doing better than I at the moment. I had a nervous breakdown at the hospital and ended up in ER. By the time I returned to Ken's room, he had been taken to surgery.

I don't know what I would do without your love and support. My heart embraces all of you.

My neighbors, The Malone's, brought dinner over just as Ken and I were thinking of 'what' to cook for dinner. God works in mysterious ways.

I thought I would give you an update on Ken.

I am still in the process of regrouping. Just a little warning. I'll be slow. My mind is so fragile, hopefully, withing a few more days, I'll get over the shock, trauma and pain from my massive Fibro flare-up. Not fun my little sweethearts.

I love each and everyone of you,
~MoNi-MoNi Ice Cream CoNi

Dear Capri and Ken, just sending some orchids, hoping they will give you some joy. I know how you love orchids...

My prayers are with you both and I'm praying that the healing hand of God will continue to touch you both and keep you safe, and that with each new day Ken, you will feel that much better.

Stay stong and look after your precious self, our lovely Capri, knowing that we are all behind you every step of the way with our prayers and love.

Blessings ~

Helena

Yes, I've been awake writing a poem for
German's Catch The Soaring Star Challenge.
I have to stay up in case something happens to his heart and believe me you I cann't feel my Fibro flare ups right now because my entire body is functioning on 'autopilot' and I am numb all over.

I will come back tomorrow and read all the comment.

Please continue to extend your prayers. Thank you so much both Ken and I greatly appreciate it.

Love,
Capri

Dear Brothers and Sisters from my Starlite Family,

Thank you. You are all one in a million whom
I will ever get to know in my lifetime.

I am happy to announce through your beautiful prayers our heavely Father in allowe Ken to live.

I am spent. I will relay the "D's" tomorrow after I sleep and rest better. We are now home from the hosptal.

Ken had two heart attacks. One on the day he came home from work 29OCT07 and then again yesterday night (light). He is to be administered several meds for the rest of his life. Three of his arteries were 90% clogged,;
three other 50 and two were 40 and one 30%.

Lady Helenalicious, thank you so much for taking a step forward and executing your compassionate ways in creating this prayer link.

I have E-mailed German Riveros and let him know
I'm home to go forward with the challenge.

I will write more. I am on meds right now too and I am having to reread everything.

I love YOU and YOU and YOU and that means YOU to.
I'm so blessed to have such a luminous star studded family.

Ken had a Catherization and a balloon angioplasty
and he is now a changed man after having smoked 30 some years. He skin is pallor and he's very sad and apprehensive of what the future holds beign his doctor told him not to lift anything over ten pounds or else Ken may have a massive heart attack and that will be all she wrote.

He's asleep in bed behind me and I have a heart attack just sleeping next to him and most off I can't sleep because I am so afraid somethign might havppen when he is sleeping so I in bed keeping my eyes on him. I am very tired with a
Fibromyalgia flare-up and my ruptured disc and my leg that feel through the verandah bothering me again and then the hurricane yesterday. Thank you Jesus for dressing me up with a cheerleader's uniform so I could press-on with your strength and I'll rephrase that...He reminded me to put on the the armor of God (Ephesians 6) and no matter how slow I had to walk in some instances I made it to Ken's bedsied.

kEN IS going to be home for a while reading.

I will write more later.
Guys and Dolls you are awsum!

Muah, hugs, love,
MoNi MoNi
