Lesa had notified me of Rubys daughters passing and I had thought for certain that I had posted my deepst sympathy here but I guess I hadn't and I sure do feel bad as my intentions were to do so immediatley. Ruy honey please be assured that we all are helping you to carry this heavy heartache. I so feel what you are going through BELIEVE me I do. Whether they leave us as a child or as a grown adult the pain is no less. Many prayers and oh so mnay hugs ~Jacie~

It's been a while since anyone has posted on this thread...but I'm posting a link to a dedication write I did for Ms Ruby. She still needs our support. I had to think about a few things before I posted here, but my main thought was to get the link out to more people. I hope we all know how important Ruby is to Starlite and how much she is loved....and she still needs our support in the loss of her daughter. I love you Ruby. I hope you know this write was done out of love.

My beloved Starlite family, I am here and at last able to pull my thoughts together enough to say thank you for your love and support. believe me i felt them as they carried me on their wings during one of my most difficult periods, ever. I survived and I will heal alto it will be slow. So once more my friends my love and thanks to you all |

Thank you so much for taking the time to keep us informed about both, Ruby and MaryAnne.
Tomorrow is going to be a difficult day for our froggie and my thoughts and Prayers will be with her.

I'm still keeping tabs on our froggie friend. She said she has compiled a CD with 16 of her very favoritest songs to be played at the funeral tomorrow. They will each place a long stemmed red rose on top of the coffin. The funeral will be held outdoors, and the weather is expected to be a balmy 78 degrees, with partially cloudy skies. I know our hearts will be with her as she lays her daughter to rest.
Also, we've heard from Maryanne. The doctor said she is healing right on schedule. And despite spending a restless night, she was able to go to her physical therapy session today, and her pain is gradually lessening. She will remain at her daughters house until she's able to navigate on her own. (and yes, they exercised the INJURED shoulder. ROFL).
They both say not to worry about them.
That they're tough old birds.
BUT I'M EXERCISING MY RIGHT TO WORRY ABOUT THEM ALL THAT I WANT TO!!!

I've not been online for a while and assume from reading this thread that you Ruby my friend have lost your daughter to the arms of death. I am so very sorry and am sending up prayers right now as I also send you my deepest sympathies and love.

Thank you so much for this update on our beloved Ruby, Jeri. I think we are all of the same mind and heart. Ruby has harnessed the heart of all Starlite...and her pain is hurting us too. But I am speaking from a personal point of view. I am just praying to God to give ruby the strength she needs to get through this...and I know it can't be easy...with God's love and time...the pain will lessen.

It's good to know she is a strong warrior and will be able to attend Lady Donna's funeral.

Dear Starlite family, I just heard from our precious froggie, so I thought you all might want an update. She told me to say SO many things, I just hope I remember them all.
First, she wants you to know that she is doing as well as can be expected. She has turned to her love of music for comfort, a love that she had shared with her daughter. She is staying strong, and she wants us to know that she WILL get through this.
She is overwhelmed by the love and support of her Starlite family. It hurts her that she’s unable to respond personally to EACH one of us. She says she will, just as soon as it’s possible. But she is dropping in as much as she can, and reading, and she feels all of our love, and she appreciates our prayers, so very much. And she thanks us, from the bottom of her heart.
Donna’s funeral is Saturday, the 17th at 1 o’clock. Ruby will be able to attend, because she has a specially equipped wheel chair and will be close by hospitals in case of an emergency.
But most of all, she kept saying “THANK YOU, STARLITE”, and saying how much she loves us!!!
Don’t worry about our Ruby, dear friends. She’s pretty tough. Just keep praying for her. She knows the power of prayer.
