Oh Sis, what wonderful, wonderful, news this is and Praise God for such a miracle.
Diane, I know that you and your family are absolutely beside yourself in joy, as all of us here are experiencing the same and are celebrating with you.
As our Dear Jacie, I know has told you, Starlite Prayer is mighty powerful medicine and we have yet again proved that when more than one is gathered in his name in prayer, the prayer will be heard and answered. When your Doctors keep scratching their heads saying they don't understand, take them a copy of this Prayer thread and just tell him WE DO!
Big group hugs all the way around, and special ones for you my dear Sis and of course for you and yours Diane.

Prayer is a very important tool in our life to
use...also is faith. I could not be happier for

Isn't it great she did not lsten to her Doctor?? She would have spent the next months or years convinced she was dying. THANK GOD she is ok. |

THIS IS COMING IN AS A """"PRAISE REPOPRT"""" Dear freinds, I just received a call from my Aunt (Dianes mom) all i can say is "UNBELIEVEABLE" and this one REALLY does have the doctors stunned! It seems that somehow tissue from a tonsilectomy that she had when she was 3 years old (now in her 40's) had grown back and attached itself to her tongue and began to grow on it. SO IT WASN'T CANCER AFTERALL!
And to top it off they could laser and not cut! We are so happy and my aunt is simply ecstatic. I sincerely thank each and every one of you who prayed for her through this. Diane when you read this and see all the prayers sent your way I know that you will know (as you do now) God indeed has worked yet another MIRACLE!!! Love ~Jacie~

My thoughts and prayers are with you Diane. I can totally understand your fears and concerns. I am asking God to hold you in His loving arms and quiet your fears, and also to guide your surgeons' hands tomorrow to do the best job that they can. It is in His hands, Sweetie--trust Him.

Oh my dear Diane....I had no idea that you were
going through this ordeal. My heart is breaking
as I write this and my prayers will be ongoing
for you and your husband. I will anxiously
await the news on Wednesday after your surgery.
Be strong honey and very brave. With God by your
side you can do anything. I cannot think of a
better prayer than Capri put on here and so I

Jacie my prayers are going out for your cousin and her family. I don't know if this will help put you at ease but two of my freind had same and same surgery and both are doing well. Tell her to keep chin up and god works in mysterious ways

After I got the call from a VERY CONCERNED MARY. (Bless your heart) I thought it best to come here and post a message from me now that Melissa so kindly opened the thread for me (as I couldn't). Us webbies have so much trouble! Anyway, thanks Melissa,for posting my cousins email to me. And I do owe you all an apology if you thought this was about me and am terribly sorry.
Diane is my cousin and has her cancer surgery this Wednesday. And YES I had emailed a few of you in December asking for prayer for her and her hubby Wayne. But now time is of great importance as she emailed me again today telling me the date of surgery and place a call of prayer out to as many as possible for her and her hubby. I will be contacting my aunt (her mom) as she will be out of it after this proceedure is done. Thanks to those of you who are so compassionate and willing to pray for a complete stranger. God bless you all ~Jacie~

I was stunned too and after getting almost all the way through, I remembered reading this some time ago and realized it is not for Jacie. I have been praying Diane and her husband. May the Lord be with her and give her strength, peace and hope.

Diane, Please know you are surrounded by Starlite Prayer Warriors. I am so very sorry to learn about your ailment. I assure you I will lift you in prayer as well as your doctor. My heart goes out to you. ((((Diane)))). I feel you ought to tell you husband, Diane, the truth. It's going to be a long process and you're going to need him more than ever. He needs to be ready both mentally and physically in order to help you when you are released from the hospital. Oh, dearest Father in heaven I lift up the name of Diane C. Rogers who is facing a major surgery. I ask thee, oh, Father, to place your hands on head and cure her of any ailments she may have in her body.
Give her the strength and wisdom and your loving comfort to bring peace to her heart as she is anxious, Lord. Encamp your angels by Diane. Keep her sheltered from the storm in your almighty arms. Also, Lord, I lift up Diane's husband in prayer asking you to bring him strength and peace to his heart so he will be able to help Diane now in her time of need. Bless her Doctor so he may perform a wonderful surgery with no complications. Bless him, Father, so he will have peace in his heart as he has suffered the loss of his wife. I ask all these things in the name of your one and only son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

This dropped me to my knees when I first started reading, then remembered these words from before and realized this is a prayer request from Jacie and not about Jacie herself. I don't know Diane but she is for sure in my prayers as well is her husband.

Hello,
I went to 2 different doctors today and I received bad news from both of
them.
I have Cancer of the tongue and something else. I quit smoking years ago
but I guess that didn't stop it. The Surgeon explained the surgery for
me and I walked out literally shaking from head to foot. They saw/cut
your chin bone in half/plus the lip and chin skin above it so that they
can get into your mouth and throat. Then you usually get a trak tube.
Sometimes it is just temporary.
Then you get either chemo or radiation or both.
Needless to say I am scared. I keep talking to God to calm me and help
me go through this. I really am glad I have him in my life it is a great
comfort in this time of need.
Wayne can not handle any stress at all so I haven't told him any more
than that I need to get the tumor out. I did not explain that it was
Cancer or that I would have to learn how to talk and eat all over again.
When I talked to my Doctor (Oncologist) to ask his opinion he said that
if it were him he would go fishing, drink beer, and when the time came
he would just shoot himself. He just lost his wife of MANY years. So I
would greatly appreciate some prayers for him also. He is a Cancer
Doctor.
Wayne also needs prayers for strength and for helping him go through
this.
I would greatly appreciate all prayers.
