I have just read your latest update Rose and my prayers continue for Gina, her mother and the family. May the Lord bring speedy recovery and give strength to them all. What a difficult thing to go through, how hard it is. And I shall be praying for Mary and her dad. Life can deal us some hard blows and without Him I don't know what we would do.

Would like to thank everyone for the thoughts, Prayers and emails about my two Nieces and sister Diane. Gina was released today but is heavily sedated because of the pain level. She will be seen by a trauma surgeon to determine what needs to be done from this point on...Rehab will take at least six months.
I am also asking for additional Prayers tonight.
I spoke with my sister Sandy in Florida a few hours ago and she informed me that my step-sister Mary and her Dad are suffering the loss of her brother/his son as of noon time today. Chipper died at home of a heart attack at age 25. Some of you may remember me writing/speaking about him as he was autistic but just the sweetest young man. Sadly I've not seen him in 4 years but still, I feel the loss as well.
Mary has many emotional problems and is very unstable so I fear the worse for her. She was in trouble last year as you may recall and attempted suicide. I worry about her going back to drugs as a way of coping.
She was caregiver to both her Dad and Chipper for several years and with her Dad on deaths door himself, this may very well do him in too.
I am asking Prayers mostly for Mary that she can find strength, acceptance and knowledge to do the right things and find her way back from the hell she's been living.
I'll be fine but am worried about her as she lives in Arizona and I am unable to go at this time. So please, Pray for her.

Wanted to give you an update. I heard from my sister tonight and she asked me to post this for her.
she wrote,
God is so Good- I love that His children rally together in prayer for each other- how we all feel each others pain and lift each other up- your group of sister and brothers in Christ are great-
I love their hearts and I love you sis for sharing with them so they can intercede on our behalf- thank you- from the bottom of my heart!!!

I would love to thank each and every one of you personally on how thankful I am to all of you for the prayers and support- but it would take just too long- please know this email is personal to each of you from my heart- I know God hears all your prayers and I am so blessed through all this with the knowledge that while we are going through this ordeal- you are lifting it up to our Father and He heard!!!!!! When 2 or more gather in His name...
I know there will be blessings and miracles through this...there already are- I have my daughter still... her little boys have their Mommy still...thank you and I thank you for your continued prayers- God bless you every one!!! Diane~
It looks like Gina may be coming home Sunday night- they are going to try to give her oral meds tomorrow to see if they can control the pain - she is now on Dilodid drip and percaset for the pain.
Gina goes to Hanover Tuesday to see the other trauma surgeon to see when the next surgery will be.
Diane also said that Gina will be staying with her during recovery and asks that we continue to Pray for full and speedy healing. Diane will be caring for Gina and her boys as Gina is now out of work for at least six months, has no insurance or short term disability and is non weight bearing. She will need dressing changes twice daily.
Diane will have her hands full between her two daughters and Gina's children so please Pray also that He gives her strength.

I just now read your prayer request Rose and I am praying for Diane and Kelly and Gina. What a devastating thing to have happened, I pray the Lord will give them strength and be real to them and may the Dr's be guided in the care of Gina.

Rose, you are all in my prayers, but especially Gina. May God reach down and place His loving hand upon her and help to heal her broken body. And may He also get Kelly thru this pregnancy to the delivery of a healthy baby. My heart goes out to all of you in this difficult time.

Dear friends and family,
I've just received news that my niece Gina was involved in a head on car accident last night on the way to her sister's Kelly's who is on bed rest for a difficult pregnancy.
Gina has had one emergency surgery already and another is planned for Monday. She has many broken bones, massive head injury, and possible internal bleeding...It is certain that she has both a broken tibia and fibia according to my Sister. . Things are looking pretty scary and we are all at wits end.
That is all I know about the accident right now.
Please Pray for my Sister Diane and her two daughters, Kelly and Gina...
