Thank you so much, dear friends, for all the prayers and good wishes. I have missed all of you so much. I never ever expected it to be me that would be on the receiving end of "reaching out", but there it is.
The condition I had is kind of embarrassing to talk about, but I can tell you that is starts with "con" and ends with "stipation". This is what made me throw up for three days to the extent that I couldn't drink or eat ANYTHING, and ultimately put me in the hospital, where they checked out my back pain, and found out I had a compression fracture!!!
So, after more tests, it's official. I have osteoporosis. YUCK!!! And I'm STILL (that word up above), so to make a long story short, I'm a mess!!! (oh, not literally. ROFL).
The good news is, they gave me some potent pain pills, and they have made life SO much easier. I'm actually able to sit here at the computer for short periods of time. So hopefully, I'll be able to comment on a few of the poems, and who knows? Maybe I'll even feel like WRITING one.
Again, I'd like to thank all of my brothers and sisters here at Starlite for their wonderful support during my absence. I luvs ya all.

I am sure many have noticed
that Morning song (Jeri)
and jollynoblefrog (Ruby)
have not been around the cafe much
I say we let them know how much they are loved and missed
and I thank my Mama Mary Anne
for bringing it to our attention
I hang my head in shame
for not doing this sooner
