Thanks to all of you! Doc_dyr: I really like your last suggestion. I turned the words around a bit and I really like "Woodland Echoes". I might go with that title. I typed it in the Yahoo search box to make sure there were no other books by that title. There was only one, and it was published in 1936. The title of it was "Woodland Echoes and Other Poems". Thank you for your lovely and helpful suggestion! Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers. Enjoy your day. (Message edited by naturenut on May 10, 2009) Stacy Smith

Thank you all for your very helpful input. That helped me eliminate a few. However, I just thought of three more: "Gnarled Shadows" "Willow Whispers" "Waltz of the Branches" Do you like any of those? The subtitle of the chapbook will be "A Collection of Tree Poems". Stacy Smith

I would agree with Lottie on this one. Good Luck with the book. "Breathe-in experience Breathe-out poetry" ~Muriel Rukeyser

I would go with a title that has "Echoes" in it only because so many books already use forms of Whisper. But I would put the "Echoes" before the word Forest to attract the readership as the rule of thumb in book browsing is that the customer will decide within 4 seconds which book to open based on what catches their eye. If your favorite does have Whisper in it, I would suggest "Whispers of the Forest". Whichever you decide good luck on your chapbook; it sounds like an exciting venture Lottie

Hi. I'm not sure if this is where I need to post this, but I noticed the description of the forum said: "this section is for offering and receiving help from the Starlite Community." I would like help. I am putting together a collection of poems about trees for a chapbook. I thought of a few titles for the chapbook and would like to know what your opinions are on what the title should be. I like them all but I'm really struggling on which one to choose. Here are the titles I came up with: "Mother Nature's Giants" "Whisper in the Branches" "Whispers of the Forest" "Whispering Woods" "Poetree" "Forest Echoes" Your input would be appreciated. Thanks.
