awww deb I am so sorry, I too miss her and being able to phone her. I am sure anyone of her closer sunshine family would love you to phone and just have them there to chat. Me included.

I too miss calling her Debbie but I am happy she no longer is suffering. Ty for letting us be a part of it all and keeping us updated. She still lives on in our hearts and in her poetry...always remember this.

I miss her so much....... each day I reach for the phone to call her. I have done this every day of my adult life. I know she's in heaven and I know she is pain free and happy but I'm still missing her

All I can say is: I won't forget how Mary Anne's heart toched me through her words and Love! I wish you all a Safe and quick Healing Deb. May we all be blessed with all her Love, Sweet Memories and so much more! As the Angel of Earth meets Heaven! Everyone will be Blessed Beautifully with her loving Spirit!

thank you for always sharing with us Debbie. We loved your Mom and will miss her presence within these halls but never will she be forgotten. Her heart prints are with us evermore.
I have been to her poetry page several times and also have visited her at face book more times than I can count. Its as though she's still right here when I read and reread her words.

Wow what a memorial service.... We all sang How Great Thou Art and The pastor read 3 of moms poems. She read The Holy Spirit , Bringing Family Home and Leaving the best of me. We also had them play Homesick by Mercy Me. It was incredible. When I went to thank the pastor she said that momma had preached her own funeral. It was so beautiful and there were lots of people. The church made the family a HUGE meal. It was just a fantastic Memorial for her and she would have been proud.

savannahnow is our local paper with the obit.... they messed it up on the internet (misspelling Cafe and they didn't post her pic) they should have that fixed by late afternoon. I had a major meltdown this morning when I saw the mistakes but was assured that it was just the online one that was messed up. That the one in the news paper is perfect. They will be singing How Great Thou Art and I am trying to find another song also. The poem THE HOLY SPIRIT that mom wrote in Nov 2000 will be read. There will be pics of her everywhere and when this is all over I am going to scan all of them and make a video in her honor. I will share that with all of you as soon as it is completed. I took the whole week off from all three jobs and it was one of the best decisions that I ever made. My mother gave me a priceless gift, she allowed me to hear of all she was seeing as God allowed her to glimpse into heaven. Amazing

How does one find the right words to describe
such a beautiful lady that we all have come to
love and cherish? Mere words can't even begin
to show how much she has touched each and
everyone of us. When she was made the mold
was surely broken. She was filled with so much
love and compassion for all that she came to
know. This angel of earth, now angel of heaven
has taught us all how to love more and find love
and goodness in everyone. Even as sick as she
was she still asked about her Starlite family, her
love showed no boundries. Her poetry will always
touch our hearts and she will live on through our
hearts and memories. She has been and always
will be Mama Sonshine...Angel mama.
My condolences to you and your family at this time.

It is so sad to hear of our beautiful poetess Mary Anne's passing, but she is flying with the angels now and has no more pain and suffering. Starlite was blessed with her light, and she is now smiling down with love on all those who have loved her. She is at peace. mama sonshine is greatly missed.
Thank you God for allowing one of your precious angels to walk here on earth with us.
Mama you will forever remain in my heart where I will always hold you close.
Debbie please take special care and know you are also in my thoughts.
Prayers are lifted to heaven for you and your family for the strength to carry on in this most difficult time.

Although this was expected, my heart is very heavy.
May we always celebrate her being and remember her with love and smiles.
Each of us have personal memories that will keep her here within these starlite halls.

Our angel here on Earth is now flying with the angels above with tearful eyes I whisper my goodbyes, but feel a sense of peace beccause our Mama Sonshine is at Home with her Lord now where she one day longed to be!! My thoughts and prayers are with Debbie and the rest of your family and here too with our Starlite family another brilliant ray of Starlite shines in heaven.
