Please tell Deb, I thought she was back here and everything was good when I saw you two playing in thew thread a week ago. Please convey to her for me my sadness about the death of her beloved friend Bear and let her know I will pray for her health, My husband has several stints inserted several years ago and they worked flawlessly for many years.. Tell her to hang in there and that frggie still thinks of her and is waiting for her return to Starlite. |

I am so sorry to hear about the problems Deb is having. And to grieve about her dog makes it worse. It would be very hard for her to take good care of her pet when she needs care herself.
It sounds a lot like what happened to my husband in the 90's. He is has been on medication ever since and he turned 81 in June and going strong doing work every day. He takes care of all the work on our large house and mechanic work on our vehicles, and also our son's 3 vehicles. He hunts and fishes and works on his hobbies. He takes lots of meds, but they work and keeping him going. So have faith and believe. God will carry her all the way. She is missed but she shouldn't worry about this place for now.
I am taking a leave of absence also. Doing deep cleaning and painting....hubby and I. I couldn't do it all alone. Expecting out of state company soon to spend a week.
I hope and pray she will start feeling better real soon. We were just becoming friends and I think she is a very sweet christian lady.

I spoke with Deb this morning. She is having to deal with so much right now. Apparently there were blockages they could not do anything about and only a part of her heart is doing it's job. The other part is for the most part dead and will never work again. She will be on certain medications for the rest of her life. Although she is sad about her Bear being gone, she does realize her family made the right decision and that she just has to not concern herself about the dog as much as she needs to concern herself with herself! Did y'all follow that? Deb has tried to come into Starlite since she's been home to read some poetry but it's just too much for her right now. She said to thank you all for your prayers (and I thank you too and I'm asking, please don't stop, she needs a lot more). She will be back as soon as she can! I will keep you posted on this thread until she is able to do it herself. Pam

Its sad to lose a pet,especially after coming out of the hospital and surgery.My prayers are that the Lord will heal her quickly and give her peace of mind to continue on.She is Starlites very own lamb...and she needs our prayers...hugznprayers, Bubz |

Thank You Pam for all of the information on our dear Debera!
Am so glad that she has had her blockage taken care of. Am feeling her pain about her dog as i lost my beloved pet on mothers day...18 years of love. Know that in her situation it was for the best although she probably doesn't think so right now. Had no idea that she had heart problems too! You are a dear to let us know. You know that she is in my prayers now for a speedy recovery and multiple blessings. Will let you know when my Email is runnung properly again.
We think it was hit by a virus possibly coming through an attachment. Hate not getting my mail!

To those of you who don't know yet, Debera did come home yesterday. She's doing okay but mainly dealing with the heartache of losing her dog, Bear. She does know it was for the best though. She's got a lot on her right now, healing in body and spirit and still needs our continued prayer. Thank you all so much! Pam

I just read your message to your friends, Pam, and then came here. I hope you can let Deb know that I am praying very hard for her total recovery. Good morning everyone! I feel I have good news! After the heart catherization yesterday, they did find two of Deb's arteries were blocked and they put in two stents. For those of you not familiar with that terminology, a stent is a wire mesh they put into your artery and once inserted, it is then expanded. It acts like an internal wall of the artery and opens it up to allow blood flow. Our little Deb was in some very serious trouble. Her doctor is with her right now and she believes she will be able to go home today. I read her all the good wishes from everyone and it really warmed her heart. When she first called though, she was crying so hard and it took me a few minutes to get her to calm down...she wasn't crying for herself, she was crying because her family made the decision to have her dog, Bear, put down today. So, even though she has gotten a new lease on life with the stents in her heart, her heart is heavy with sadness but she does realize it is for the best. She can't wait to get home and get back on Starlite! She said to tell you all thank you so much for your well wishes and prayers and she will see us all soon! And I thank you all for the prayers sent her way! Starlite is a true family of people who care about one another!

I'm so sorry everyone, but with my dog's problems and all, I lost track of time and didn't get to call Deb. I was hoping she'd call me in the middle of the night but she didn't. I hope that means she was resting well! Anyway, I will call her this morning sometime and will get back with you all on what's going on with her. By the way, any prayers that were said for Boots, I thank you, she seems to be rallying. Pam

Pam, thank you so much for letting us know about Debera's condition. I'm sure she can feel all these sweet, loving, healing thoughts and prayers winging their way to her hospital room. She is a dear lady and I will be happy when she's back here, posting again. 'Til then, Deb dear, rest and heal.

Oh my goodness Pam thank you so much for letting us know and yes I do know Deb and she is one who wants to take care of everyone and not have anyone worry about her. I appreciate you telling us this! Anyone who knows Debera will understand when I say she doesn't want to bother or burden anyone with her problems but I have decided she is just going to have to deal with me telling you all about her condition. She needs prayer and I know how much prayer can help. She had a heart attack about a week ago and now she's back in the hospital. They feel she has had another heart attack and are in the process of making that determination. I believe they are doing a heart catherization on her today. Please everyone, say a prayer for this sweet lady who only wants what's good for everyone else, rarely ever thinking of herself. Thank you! Pam
