Needing prayers again tonight please. Gene awoke this morning with a low-grade temp and congested. I am so afraid of pneumonia! I will call the Hospice nurse if it gets worse. He had a good week and now this. It's like a rollercoaster.
Thank you and much love to all!
Deloris

Thank you Pam! Starliters are amazing in their closeness and caring for one another! I'm so happy to be a part of that.
Love and Hugs to all!

I wrote to Deloris to find out how she and Gene were doing as I hadn't seen her in Starlite for awhile. I was sad to hear Gene is not doing well but he and Deloris are doing their best to make their days as memorable as they can. They've just been blessed with a new grandchild which has brought them immense joy. However, they are in need of prayer and I believe we can give that to them!

Here is an excerpt from her last e-mail to me:
Gene isn't doing well right now so we aren't getting out at all. When we do get a day out we treasure it though. He doesn't have much pain except for the cancer in his arm. It's getting harder for him to breathe now, but as for pain in his lungs/chest he doesn't have it. He fell again this week and is confined to the bed again. I think he has a fractured rib. Please do post a prayer request for us. We would appreciate it very much. There is so much power in prayer! Thank you! Deloris

Dear Lord, I'm praying for Gene and Deloris. Please hold them in your loving arms. Help them gain as much peace as possible in this, the fight of their lives. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
