This was for last night..."my wish for you all, starry skies and a little bit of whatever makes you happy" and one she just told me "From all of the shots and bruises you can't tell the difference between the worts and brusies on this frog, both sure are ugly lol" Got to love our Froggie, although she's still very ill she wanted me to give you all a smile and let you know she fighting this hard and hopes to be back to Stalite as soon as she can and she misses you all very much. She is doing PT when she is able to. Let's keep the prayers going and the love for this special lady of the Star. There, they will assess what damage was done by the congestive heart failure episode, and determine how much she could do for herself, if she were to be sent home. She's not out of the woods yet, but there is a lot of room for hope. So keep on praying that our froggie gets all better. She has been told of the outpouring of prayers and poems by Starlite, and she says she's surprised and overwhelmed by how many Starliters are pulling for her. Bonnie is either in Houston, or nearly there, as I type this. She intends to stay by her side and provide the extra care that the nurses don't have time for. God bless our Teddy. Hugs.... My hopes were up so high, but Ruby has taken a turn for the worse today, and she's in a great deal of pain. She still needs our prayers desperately. I guess I just wanted her to be better so bad, and when I heard the cheerfulness in her voice, I had her cured, up and walking, and better than ever. Can you say wishful thinking? (sigh). Her sodium levels are climbing closer to normal, and even though she still sounds very weak, her breathing is better, she is fully alert, she's occasionally joking, and she's even writing a poem for one of the nurse's wedding. She was just released from the ICU, and is now in an acute care room. I don't want to sound overly optimistic here, because she's still not completely out of the woods yet. But with your continued prayers, I hope it won't be that long before she's back home where she belongs. Oh, and she says she loves each and every one of you, and she thanks you so much for taking the time out of your busy days to pray for her. We knew this was serious, but I don't think we realized even quite how precarious her condition actually was, as she had to be resuscitated several times upon admittance to the hospital. But through the Grace of God, the skill of the Emergency Room personnel, and our fervent prayers, we still have our beloved Ruby here with us. I'm sending a great big "thank you" up to heaven tonight. And our Little Bear is planning on driving all the way from Ohio to Texas on the first of the month. I know we all would love to be a little mouse in the corner when THAT reunion takes place. (grin) So maybe we might need to keep Bonnie in our prayers too, so that she will have a safe trip and that the weather conditions stay mild for her when she finally gets to see her "Mama Frog". Our prayers are being answered so let's keep on letting her know we are beside her all of the way. Jeri I have to agree with you it's not the same without our Froggie here with us. I know she can feel our love and prayers that we are sending her and I hope she finds comfort in them.
