I am pleased to report that Woody is doing better than he did before even tho he decided to not have heart surgery. He has more strength. He mowed the yard without stopping and before he went to the hospital he had to stop and rest three times. He has better appitite, less depressed, and quoting Bible scripture which is unusal for him. Today he has gone fishing with a friend.

I received a reminder that Woody and Norma still need our prayers. It is very difficult for someone who ghas been active to slow down. Norma looks for ways to help him and so please, will you continue praying for wisdom for them both. Just a reminder to not let go of your prayers for them. Thank you for caring.

Dear Prayer Partners,
I just spoke with Norma on the phone and would like to share a 'praise the Lord' report.
Woody is home form the hospital and it seems things are back to normal. He must take it easy but Woody decided not to have the surgury. The Doctor agreed with his decision. At this point, he just simply must slow down. Norma sounds relieved and very pleased to have her Woody home with her again.
Thank you for praying especially ...let us all give thanks to God.

Woody has been in the hospital since Friday. Today they did a catherzation. An artery in his heart needs two stents where it branches out. It is a complicated procedure and this doctor couldn't do it. He has to make a decision whether to go on with it this way with limited activites or go to a larger hospital. They are checking to see what the VA will pay for and where they would send him. It will be several miles away. I asked what the risk if he doesn't get it done and he said 5% chance of a heart attack, He is so active and can't stand thoughts of not being able to do whatever he wants to. So we are still playing the waiting game.
Thank you all for the prayers, and I ask for them to be continued.
