It is with great sadness I have heard this news about you resigning Tess but understand there comes a time in our life's when we have to sometimes move on. Yourself and Albert were The cafe and although Devin is doing a great job you and Albert will never be forgotten here. I WAS SADDENED WHEN I RECEIVED THE NEWS ABOUT TESS AND HER RESIGNATION. SOMEHOW I FELT THIS DAY WOULD COME. BUT I WANT HER TO KNOW THAT EVERYTHING SHE DID TO HELP ME POST FOR FRANK AND ALL THE TELEPHONE CALLS EACH NIGHT WHEN FRANK WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND GIVING UPDATES TO FRANK'S FELLOW STARLITERS FOR ME I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER AND APPRECIATE. I THANK HER FOR WHEN I BEGAN CARRYING ON FRANK'S LEGACY OF WRITING THAT SHE MADE ME ONE OF THE POTM. THIS HONOR I WILL ALWAYS CHERISH. I CAN'T BEGIN TO HOLD A CANDLE TO SO MANY BEAUTIFUL POETS/POETESS HERE AT STARLITE. GOOD LUCK AND MUCH HAPPINESS TESS AND ENJOY THAT NEW GRANDBABY. THEY DO NOT STAY BABIES LONG ENOUGH. I WILL MISS YOU AND I PRAY WE CAN STAY IN TOUCH. I'LL MISS OUR DISCUSSIONS ABOUT WOMEN IN THE MILITARY, WOMEN IN THE PROFESSIONAL FIELD AND POLITICS. YOU WERE AN INSPIRATION TO BOTH FRANK AND ME. Awww, Tess... You must leave us? Yes, it is me - Curt (Hot Stud) hehe! (been a long time, I know) To all of those who don't me, I've been around a long time as in came here in 2000, but just not been around LATELY!
Tess, just want to know that nobody can ever take your place. You've done a great job and you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
DEVIN, I think we should keep Tess' sections (or at least one; like "In the mood for writing") to stay up in HER HONOR!

This is indeed a sad day.Tessie Poo,you have been a large part of my life for the past decade.Between Albert and Dale and you,it all came together and the friendship has bonded like no other.I wish you much happiness dear one,and I pray we will hear from you as the days roll by.

Tess you are a true lady of the day we all love you so much. I didn;t know you as well as would have liked to, but will miss you greatly. I hope only the best for you and good luck with your new grandchild. I hope you still come and keep in touch with us all.

Dear Sweet Tess,
Ths is so unlike you. You have always faced us head on. No matter what you had to say. You told us face to face about your father, About Albert, About different things on Starlite whether they were things you knew would hurt us or make us happy. Even when you knew we would not agree with you. You still came face to face. Where are you now when we are telling you we love you?? We won't make you feel guilty because everyone of us know that you need time now. With that beautiful Grand Baby.

This is so hard to believe! I mean REALLY HARD. Our Tess has alwyas been such an intricate part of the Starlite Cafe. Literally I am in shock over this news. I know that we haven't seen her much lately but beings that she is now a grandma I fully understand that a lot of her free time (and how little she has) is with the new grandbaby.It saddens me to see Tess Place, Masterpiece Theater, and In The Mood removed. Even if of her own accord. And I cannot help but feel there is a whole lot more here than what meets the eye. THERE I WAS BRAVE ENOUGH TO SAY IT! Tess we shall miss you immensely dear. Some may say change is good but without you it just ain't gonna be the same. Sending you off with love and hugs and PEEPS enough to last FOREVER! ~Jacie~

I too am so sorry that you are no longer going to be on the Starlite Managment Team! You have been a part of my life for nearly a decade, and I don't know what I will do with out you dear sweet friend! I do wish you well in what ever your future endeavors may be. I do hope that you will still contuine to post your beautiful poetry here with us. I wish you lots of green peppers!!! Thanks for all you have done for Starlite Cafe, and for myself. Just a few moments ago, I received a letter from Tess informing us of her resignation from The Starlite Cafe Management Team. Tess has been a major part of Starlite for a very long time. We regret her decision to leave, but wish her well in her future endeavors. Following her requests, we will be removing Tess' Place, MasterPiece Theater, and In the Mood from The Starlite Cafe.
Please join me thanking Tess for everything she has done and wishing her well.
