Thank you everyone for your feedback... I will activate the first one tonight...happy challenging!! This is something I have thinking about for awhile.. and I think many would enjoy having some site-wide voted challenges again..)) Hosted ones are nice too but.... this will be fun I think!

I think it would be a good idea to maybe alternate them that way it will be something new every few days or once a week however long it takes to fill it up that way it would be like a new challenge rotating and not mundane. Just my opinion 
I'm sry to here of this news about your daughter's father-in-law. My condolences

Oh and one more thing... these will be strictly Starlite voted with no hosting duties attached..I may ask for a guest host every now and again but it will still be Starlite voted.. how does that work for ya'll?

Bonnie, I think for the time being I'll start with an Anything Goes like challenge...see how this goes and then I can add the Pick Your Theme...Or Choose a phrase challenge...I need to get past the next couple of days... my daughter's father-in-law passed away on New Year's Eve... services are today...if you have more ideas for challenge concepts do let me know..I like the ideas and I think the members will too

I think it's a good idea for those who don't want to host, is it going to be like the old Pick Your Theme where the poets choose a theme they want or a phrase or another AG with no hosting duties involved? This will give the poets more of an opertunity to join another challenge and post their works and get feedback.

Hello everyone... I have decided to open a new site-wide challenge called Just For The Love Of It challenge... It will be Starlite voted so there are no hosting duties involved. There have been some requests for a challenge that did not have hosting duties attached since the challenge policy states that JFTLOI entries are not allowed in site-wide challenges and this has presented some problems. This is a way to enter and win a site-wide challenge without further obligation.
I have the new challenge ready to go but will wait to get feedback from you as to whether or not this is something you'd like to have offered.
