Nooooooo, please don't post poems on this thread. Lovemepoetry, I put this thread up to post the flyer for my neighborhood group in hopes that folks in my area might come, not as another thread to post poems. please start your own thread for that. |

Thanks Isis. I didn't actually make the name, we had a vote. In the end, was maybe a good thing, cuz the guy whose name won died a few months later, so it's almost like he lives on with us in the group name. He came up with the name cuz he said that all poets are a bit disturbed.
Thanks Nat, we kinda got it started cuz aside from barnes and Nobles, we didn't really know of any writing groups. You should start one in your area. |

WHY not have this as a thread to sanity-----and only disturbed poets allowed to post----then if the blind lead the blind the number of disturbed people will not grow larger
And all upset poets must settle down to a disturbed only state before they can reply------one rule Everyone supplies his own coffee

Hi,
this is an invitation going out to any and all poets in the san Francisco Bay Area.(south Bay). My offline, neighborhood poetry group is seeking some new creative blood to come hang out, share some poetry, and write. We are in San Jose, Ca. and we meet the first monday of every month. There are no membership dues and no commitments needed. Pop in every month or just once a year. I'm tacking on the flyer info below (the graphics won't show, but at least the basic info is here) If you think you might be interested and want more info, my e-mail is at the bottom of the flyer.
