Yes it does sis.. We al got to hang together.. or we'll damn well hang seperate.. Irrelevant of Circumstnace, Extenuating or Otherwise.....

These do indeed seem to be difficult times for so many of us. Myself, and my own family included. But I beleive in you people of the Starlite, in my heart of hearts. And I know that whatever is being tossed to each of us, well, we will handle it. And we will move on and be all the stronger for it.
During these trying times, embrace all of your fellow poets. Even those with whom you may not agree. Because at this site, we all have one thing in common. We are all poets. And poets are a special breed. We are those who hear the tears of this world, as well as the joys, and truly listen to them.
Poets are special people. I really believe that. God has given all of us a "sight" that some do not have. It is a gift, as well as a curse. We care more. We cry more.
But at this site, we are all here together. I love all of you. I truly do. Together, we can help each other through any thing that comes our way. Some days will be dark. Some will be bright and happy. But we will share them all, amongst like people. We are all poets. We are all alike. We care.

Well you can add my AMEN to the prayer Jacie and I will continue to pray for Starlite and the wonderful circle of friends we all have here. To Tess...ALL prayers not only count, but are vital! We all believe in the same God and HE is the one who hears and answers prayer. Thank you to all of the wonderful Starlite staff for this place that is my second home and has been so much comfort to me in many dark and lonely hours. THANK YOU!!

TESS IF IT WEREN'T FOR FOLKS LIKE ALBERT AND YOURSELF THIS SITE WOULDN'T BE AVAILABLE FOR SUCH POSTING. I don't know all of what is going on. I am very saddened to hear that folks are upset.
Albert and I join with you in praying for peace. And we would kindly ask all to remember, Albert is Jewish by faith and blood. And I am part Jewish by blood. I hope our prayers count, too.

Forgive me but may I ask for special prayers for my wife who I finally brought home from the hospital and for her 39 year old daughter from a previous marriage who has suffered a heart attack..thank you and I thank God for one of Starlite's greatest assets..The power behind a Starlite Prayer chain..I add my Amen to this much needed and appreciated prayer..all be blessed..In God we trust..Philip |

I am placing this under the announcements catagory beacuse I HAVE HAD ENOUGH of the devil interferring with our little corner of cyberspace and am oficailly calling on all Starlite members to help me fight the battle against the snares of the demons taunting us from anything to everything. It seems that these past few weeks were have been overwhelmed by sickness for ourselves as well as family and friends,depression being the highest on the list. And I am callng an all out war by asking for you to join me in prayer right now.
Just add your amen.
Dear Lord we come as a group family and ask that you take control over all the situations at hand within our Starlite family circle. Against depression, ill health, financial difficulties, social problems, lack of self worth, dealing with past and present heartaces, lost jobs, lonliness, unforgiveness, bad attitudes, addictions,mental difficulties, turmoil between family members in our own personal lives as well as right here wthin the walls of our cafe. Lord lead us through the fires that burn about us and help us as we the warriors walk the fires of hurt and hate, mistrust and abuse.Lead us safely by thy mighty hand to claim VICTORY over the powers that opress us. Let us take up our swords with a swiftness that shall slay the evil that lurks about us trying to devour all it can. Let the battle began as we rumble with a vengence and give us the power to win these many battles..... AMEN ~Jacie~ |
