I believe that Skybrush should be lit up with other fellow Starliters that have passed away. I am all for Starlite to Light up the Gone but not forgotten Poets for POTM for July **HUGS** I would love to see lit up in POTM: 1) Skybrush 2) Sorcha 3) Julian Roberts (JROB) 4) Mike Diaz 5) Eileen Chadwick (Honororing Poets that have gone before us for JULY 2006 POTM but their poems live on in all our lives!!) **HUGS** Love Marianne G.
I'm on a Mission: "To Give Random Hugs!" **HUGS** GO LOVE A FRIEND!!

Title: We Remember the King (For Skybrush) URL: http://www.thestarlitecafe.com/poems/101/poem_8342329.html
Name a popular starlite voice with an american city in his pen name that was POTM in NOvember 2004. If you named "The Detroit Bulls" YOURE WRONG! I'm POPULIST, NOT POPULAR, which is how I prefer it, As the Old Testament Patriarchs, AND Jesus Christ Himself.

I think it is a wonderful idea God determines who walks into your life....it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.

I am in FULL agreement to this and think it is a very kind and considerate thing to do as well. I do believe that Lewis also made mention of this. What say you Starliters? Lets honor Skybrush the month of July by making him POTM. ~Jacie~ ~Jacie Stralko Duca~ JMDUCA@webtv.net

I think Annie has a wonderful idea, It seems almost like this man was a father of sorts to the starlighters and I think it would give an oppturnity to all of us to say THANK YOU. |

Hi Albert, Tess and all Moderators, and all of us as well, May I make a suggestion. Voting is coming in for POTM for July and I think it would be a nice gesture to Tess, who runs this thing that brings honor and flattery to we who share this site, if we forego POTM for July and give the honor entirely to SKYBRUSH. This man has been a shining light for so very many of us, his love, his genuine spirit of friendship, his humor, his willingness to give to each of us has been a blessing for which I am so very grateful. He is a man among men in every way that counts. He has been a wonderful father to Tess, a devoted husband, a man of faith and the truest of friend to the Cafe and everyone here...And Skybrush did it all bravely and lovingly through years of pain and suffering himself. He is a wonderful poet and an awesome artist. His art has often inspired me, his encouragement consistantly has. Tess, Albert, however you chose to go with this, I salute Dale Hilliard our dear Skybrush and thank God for the time He gave us with this wonderful peer and mentor. I shall miss him. Love, Annie |
