Beauty becomes a flaw
As all eyes stare in awe
Concealed insecurity
Deformed identity
Scars patch the flesh
Stitched unlike the rest
Dandelion to a rose
Fear to be exposed

Chorus
Venus smells of perfection
Beauty induced intoxication
Venus knows no rejection
Goddess by idolization
Venus has a new identity
One not of this reality
Venus here’s a fatality
Forged under man-made beauty

Tears glistens her eyes
A burden lies inside
No matter how she’d hide
Can’t escape herself inside
Dim paints of pain
Shades her so perfectly
Blended with a blush of lies
She lives her life so vainly

Chorus

Beauty becomes a flaw
As all eyes stare in awe
Scars patch the flesh
Stitched unlike the rest

Chorus
