Mortality
For my transgressions
Damned
For my treasons
I’ve made mistakes
That I can’t escape
I knew better
But that didn’t matter

Can you forgive me?
Can you still love me?
Am I too lost?
Can you still save me?

Chorus
I believed
But couldn’t conceive
The truth from theory
I grieved
Assuming you thieved
The only life left in me
Condemned
For eternity
In purgatory

Inevitable
I’m to face a verdict
Deniable
For I’m a convict
Against morality
I can’t be redeemed
For my mutiny

But can you forgive me?
Can you still love me?
Am I too lost?
Can you still save me?

Chorus

Please save me
Please show me
That you exist
The signs I missed
Please save me
Please forgive me
Please
Save
Me

Chorus

Please save…
Me

There seems to be a harshness to the rhythm on this. Not sure if that is what you intended. There are some great ideas in there, as well as the devices for taking us to where you want emotionally. Just seems really choppy, could be smoothed out a little is all, great start though and original in it's addressing the theme.
