hey guys im michelle obviously new here...thx to ja_soldier i now have somewhere to post my poetry online. thx ja_soldier!!!! i like to think my poetry is good, but i could definitely use comments and improvement. so...heres one...

Late at night, I sit and wonder.
The moon and starts are my only accompaniment,
Yet I am not lonely.
The stars guide me along my thinking path
With the moon to be my light.
I think about life,
Both problems and successes.
I think about where I want to be in life, and why.
I think about him, the one I want so much,
And yet I am afraid to be with.
I think about my friends,
And how blessed I am to have them.
I think about where I have been in my life,
And where I need to be yet.
I wonder why I am here,
And what my destiny truly is.
Not what your fortune cookie tells you,
But the predestination of life.
I ponder the meaning of life.
What is the point of our being here?
I think about the beauty of nature,
The trees, the birds, the sky and the grass.
I am mystified my what surround me,
And yet calmed by the very thought.
I know that what I have and what there is
Is good and of pure intention.
What is not made by man, is made by good, and therefore good.
I embrace what I cannot possibly understand,
And accept it.
As I continue my pondering,
A shooting star dies in the night.
One by one, the stars go out.
The sun is rising,
And at last I fall asleep.
