Three-day pass I got from work, A horse that loved to plow, Say goodbye to base, "Hey man, don't have a cow!", Chili at the chow hall, Been cooking there for days, "Come have yourself some seconds", It's Uncle Sam who pays, I ate all I could hold, Then I saw the town, My turn it was to howl, My turn to play the clown, Gut-kicked by a mule, My chili didn't keep, Heaving dry in gutter, Words were strung by bleep, To hospital I had to go, Jello half a week, That cook was not a friend, His name you cannot speak, When your friends desert you, Disasters great are neigh, Take this bit of comfort, On gutters can rely...
