Welcome back home! Wow! What a journey. I'm glad you won some of the battles, especially the one with cancer. Our Starlite community continues to grow. I guess your heard about Albert's passing. He lost his battle with cancer. We all miss him dearly! But we have kept the site going. My son Devin and I purchased Starlite on November 15, 2007. We've introduced a lot of innovations, but it's still the same great community of poets. Let us know if we can help with anything at the site. Great to have you back home!

Hello everyone,,
I haven’t been around much lately (in fact not at all since 2002) things have been a bit busy.

The end of 2002 left me in what was supposed to be a final battle with stomach cancer, between then and now I have had 3 operations, a divorce, a couple of breakups, and moved about 5000 miles away from where I was living when I first logged in.

I didn’t really stop writing, I’d likely be broke if I did, but didn’t have much time for the finer things in life, like the friendships and camaraderie I found on this site. But now I’m home again, and have a lot of new experience that hopefully I can turn into something worth reading.

The end result of the journey in short, for those of you who know me and may want to hear it: cancer lost, chicks dig scars, ex wife won, girlfriends moved on, and the south is soooooo much nicer in the winter then Alaska was.
