oh shoot B_humingbird (love love that nick btw) (am curious what the C stands for in your real name...lol) we all are sorta intimidated to a certain degree if you speak of the talent here....there is so much amazing talent here it is truly quite humbling and paradoxically uplifting....you are so very welcome to our starlite home...so glad to see you at the cafe...you most likely will find this to be a very inspiring place to write and learn and grow...not to forget to mention, to experience the chance to read friends' incredible works, masterpieces, even, hot off the presses....it is exciting....and fun....don't forget..I am a relative newbie too..just over two months now... in friendship, Dory

Hello everyone!!!!!! This is my first time ever doing anything like this!! I read a poem i wrote a year ago to someone and they thought my poems might help somebody somewhere. a friend told me about this site and to post them here. I hope you all enjoy them. You're off to a good start hummingbird. Believe me, I know how intimidating it can be. Believe it or not, I didn't even take the time to introduce myself. I just came in and joined and started commenting on people's poetry. You get to know people like that quicker than any other way. I appreciate that you have already read and commented on some of my poetry. I got your comments in my mailbox. I fully intend to to send you a proper thank you.
