rap lyrics, alternative?poetry can be turned into whatever the hearer wants to turn them into,it has to be said that some poetry is harder for some then others,i once had a friend who could rap shakespere...and it was good.if your intrested in finding out if your poetry can be made use of in this way heres what i say, write in bars, do you know what a bar is? if not just ask,its simple stuff, but make your poetry more capable to be worked with by counting bars like, lets say a four bar chorus, just to start, then a 16 bar verse, back to a four bar chorus, then another 16 bars for verse two. see how it works by reading "carry on" on my poems, im not trying to promote my stuff i just want you to see what im talking about.do that a few times, write a few songs then try ghostwriters.com for a sampler. also soundclick.com for artist who would deffanantly be intrested.hope that helps.

To be honest, it depends on the lyrics, themselves. However, there is the option, if you can afford it, to submit a poem or more, to one of the music publishers advertised in Writer's Digest Magazine. I once sent one of my own, to one of them- Empire Music. They'll send you a tape which will include someone of their choice, singing the poem. But when I sent my poem, the poem still seemed like a brief poem, and the singer was terrible. But they did ofter to help me, for a fee, get the poem copy righted. But I could try to turn one of your poems into a song, and send it back to you.

I am looking for anyone who can turn my poetry into lyrics. This will only benefit talented musicians. I will give them the rights to use my poetry in there music. My poems are different in that I use simple words with a simple message that flows and rhymes. There is nothing spetacular about them except for the powerful message they send, the beautiful flow of the words and the inspiration they give.
