hello everyone..im new on here..and like everyone on here i like/love writing poems.to me its a good way to express feelings..i dont take words and put them together it comes from my mind and heart and onto the paper..

Yeah I guess at least the point to not force a poem I will do. I normally never force me into something so also not into writing. When I have something to write about and it comes directly from my mind through my arm through the pen on the paper, cool. If not, also cool.
What do you guys think about those I uploaded today? |

Some advice I was given a long time ago....
Read lots of poetry
Keep a journal
Look for the magic
don't force a poem..Wait for the "moment"
Let your imagination run wild
Don't be afraid if the "poem" is bad...just keep on trying. ( I have so many and keep on trying)
Write different metaphors and build on them...then re-write...
I am sure there is much more those more qualified could add, but these are things that have stayed with me for a long time
Good luck and just keep on writing....

Thank you. I'm from germany.
And it could happen that I dont like it after a time. But in the moment when I write it, i normally like it. And I guess I'll also will post the most as soon as I have written them. When I don't like them after a few days I just delete them again
But it helps me to deal with some stuff.

Here's some friendly advice- don't rush, when writing poetry, nor anything else, especially if in English. Just take your time, concentrate, which requires peace and quiet. And remember, as the experts say- if you don't like it, it's possible, nobody else will, either.( But that's some times just what they say). |
