Welcome to Starlite Foggy! There is actually a way to center part of your poem on the posting page using HTML code.
before each line you post
<CENTER>
at the end of the line post
</CENTER>
Then go back to using no code before the line and it will change back to uncentered lines. Make sure to NOT click the center text box on the posting page when using this code.

You are not required to comment on anyone's poem but it is customary if you enjoy a piece to place a few kind words in the comment box provided and as far as the poem being in various alignments it can be done but only by doing the master elsewhere and then pasting and copying it i our form.. you'll get the hang of everything soon enough, there will always be someone around to give you a hand. so pull up your chair,,, sit down and enjoy yourself a while |

Hi everyone, i just got onto this site yesterday and it is a steep learning curve. I am very impressed.
I am 62 years old and didnt start reading or writing poetry until 2 year ago. I spent my first 40 years as a farmer in Worcestershire England and the last 20 years owning a care home in Devon for people with severe mental problems.
I am having a few problems. Firstly is there a required number of replies one should give for each poem uploaded? Secondly I noticed that my poems can be centered by ticking a box, but can part of a poem be centered and the rest not?
