Tess And albert you are right abortion is something none of us can agree on..why? Because we do not have a clear definition of what it means to be human!
Who will be bold enough to make such a definition, who has the authority or the wisdom?
Politics?
Science?
Religion?
The children?
The mothers?
The Fathers?
Who can tell me who i am and why i am?
If i fully knew what it meant to be human, when i was made human, what made me human then and only then could i dispute such issues as abortion

I agree it is a poetry website.. but when you title the discussion general..it sort of does leave alot of windows open and if it is not abortion it is something else which people don't want to hear about. If that is the case no1 has ever asked or forced someone to read whats in any of these discussions. If we only are allowed to talk about poetry on here to avoid any real issues we decide to deal with or ignore in life than fine i shall only ever speak on poetry in these discussion forums. However if not than i do not see why this is unlike any other discussion. With a clear title "Abortion" i think partial abortion was clear enough anyways. I can't see why anyone who prefers to ignore the issue would come and read this. What can and can't we talk about.. there is this line but im struggling to see it. If all things general were "Discussed" here tha'd be awesome
Even some of my poetry is centred around the issue at hand.
Abortion is one of those issues that is very important right now for all of us.. its something i'd even prefer to talk about over war. We teach people that being smart means put a condom on..not use your brain. More innocent persons lose their life through abortion than they do war. But at least if you join the army etc you still have a choice in whether you want to risk your life or not. Freedom isn't free it costs a buck-0-nine lol or a young childs life :|
p.s Was this not a discussion similar on a spiritual or political forum which was also canned because some people didn't agree with whats been said. Do we have to agree on everything?

This is an issue on which we will all never agree. It is also not an issue that needs to be discussed at a poetry forum. We have provided both spiritual and political boards at this site for discussion of such topics. Such discussion should be confined to those portions of this site.

A child myself from somewhat of a failed partial abortion via my father abusing my mother whilst pregnant with me..i have to say even with all the crap in my life i'm still happy to be alive..not because im financialy stable or because i have food to eat all the time. Just because there was enough love for me to have any kind of a chance at life. Any kind of abortion is an uncessecary evil and if you have any heart you'd sign this petition and many more. There is no choice in whether we can have the baby or not that isn't freedom. Freedom has never been about what i can and can't do..its about what I must do! Think about it if you don't do certain things you can't really have freedom Protect the innocent and preserve life.
