Which part of Acts are you refering too?
First part with the Jewish church of Peter and
the other 11 preaching the gospel of the Kingdom?
Or the second half with Paul, the body of Christ
and the Gospel of Grace?

If you want to know what a church does and how it works read the book of acts lol anyone heard that before?
So many people disregard the church's authority jealous and untrusting of its ordained authority given to it by Jesus Christ himself. I urge you to read acts and then discuss with me how a church should be run according to the bible.
One example is in acts in which if there is a dispute the apostles do not take out their bibles and debate interpretations. What happens? They take it to the head of the Church Peter and the apostles. What happens when Peter speaks everyone shuts up and obeys. My question is why? Because he is the pope ordained by Jesus Christ himself whatever he binds on earth shall be bound in heaven. Even those who rest their faith entirely on the bible have to look at that in wonder!
God bless - miCk.
