Heh thanks Elliot :-) I do like to listen. Im no God with all the answers but i can help give you some advice for the things that i've been and done with. Im a firm follower in the Bible, but i can honestly say i wouldn't be if i hadn't seen the Word in action. I keep promising my testamony huh? i know im sorry im a lil busy currently organising stuff for uni next year. But my awareness of God fully hit me when i was on my dying knees giving up on this world..i was open to anything thankfully instead of drugs the first offer given to me was a trip to some dorky retreat. I say dorky coz thats what i would of thought of it before i had nothing. When you've got absolutely nothing believe me you will take any help someone offers you.. while been very weary though i might add.

There is no definition for a parents most clearer in the Bible. Theres written out instructions for parents and children which seem to go a miss. My father is far from the perfect father in fact alot of people would hate my dad if in my situation. But you know what this is how straight forward i am with my Faith. The Bible says Love and honour your father and mother. Theres absolutely no exemptions from this. Im called to love my enemies, and i will. Simply because its told to me, or i read it in a book?! Naw, because i know its right. I've heard the stories of people putting this practice in their lives and i too have loved my enemies and have been shown why its more than just a good idea! If you can tell me why its not a good idea to love my father and mother and honour them no matter what, or why its not good to love my enemies..please tell me im all ears, eyes, and feet ;)

parents are useless when they make your life and then break it... its all in the defenition you put of a parent. where do you get love? lets see.. from girls and boys arround you... yourself... items.. money... anything and everything can give love... even the ground when you plant a small tree... it give rise to a plant.. thats love in its purest meaning "the creation of something new" atleast to my pathetic likes and needs... i am an individual so i think among the lines you think of... and who needs a historical sermon Alianne? erg...

How did the congregation that Jesus established turn into a clergy class that was unscriptural?
The congregation that Jesus established developed during the first century under the guidance of elders (overseers) and ministerial servants. (Matthew 20:25-27; 1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-9) These were drawn from the congregation. They were capable spiritual men with no special theological training, just as Jesus had no such training. Indeed, his opponents wondered: “How does this man have a knowledge of letters, when he has not studied at the schools?” (John 7:15) And concerning the apostles, the religious rulers observed the same: “Now when they beheld the outspokenness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were men unlettered and ordinary, they got to wondering. And they began to recognize about them that they used to be with Jesus.”—Acts 4:13.

However, the apostasy brought in concepts derived from the Jewish clergy and eventually from pagan Rome’s religious setup. As time went by and the turning away from true faith took place, an unscriptural clergy class developed. A crowned pope began ruling over a college of cardinals, who in turn were drawn from hundreds of bishops and archbishops, who in turn were promoted from seminary-trained priests. Thus, not long after the first century, a mystic clergy class took over in Christendom. This class was not patterned after the first-century Christian elders and ministerial servants but was patterned after pagan religious systems.

As early as the third century C.E., ordinary believers had been relegated to the second-class status of laity. The apostate man of lawlessness gradually assumed the reins of power. This power was solidified during the reign of the Roman emperor Constantine, especially after the Council of Nicaea in 325 C.E. Then Church and State became welded together. Thus, the man of lawlessness—the clergy of Christendom—became a centuries-long line of apostates in revolt against the true God, Jehovah. The laws and arrangements that they have followed are their own and not God’s

Excellent point. Man needs God, why? Thats the big Question isn't it why do we need God can't we just live on our own and do what we think is right?! I'll pose a similar Question

Why do we need Parents?

I mean while having a car and a job and family is important, give a man all this and why is he not satisfied?!

You mentioned Love.. which is a really broad Term. We need Love in our life..i agree! Now where do we get that from?
