I did not say the Koran professes its belief in the trinity, but that it does make mention of the trinity. Although not in a very good light..nor an accurate light either. Michael william James

It does speak of the trinity it just does not confess belief in it. But for a start muhammed's idea of the trinity is inaccurate. Michael william James

GOOD QUESTION MICHAEL BUT THE QURAN DOES NOT SPEAK OF A TRINITY. THEIR GOD IS ONLY ONE AND HIS NAME TO THEM IS ALLAH |

Why are the quotes not spoke about by which mohammed talks about the Virgin mary clearly been listed as a member of the trinity. No Catholic worhsips mary.. when we pray the Holy mary it is actually just honouring The mother of Jesus Christ but whorshiping Jesus. Why is it that many muslims are quick to attack the Church on obeying doctrine past the Bibles period when muslims themselves adapt teachings that are beyond the Koran also. Michael william James

BRAVO!!! MICHAEL YOU SAY :"Gods truth and There is only one Truth!" THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS MICHAEL AND THE TRUTH OF THE BIBLE IS THAT THERE IS NO TRINITY GOD. ONLY YAHWEH, HEBREW JEHOVAH, ENGLISH FOR ANYONE TO HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THE FATHER, JESUS SAID : "YOU MUST WORSHIP THE FATHER IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH." THOSE THAT DON'T THE BIBLE SAYS WILL BE ANNIHALATED. DEUTERONOMY |

The church was given authority thru christ to peter to leo and so on. The trinity is not a bunch of lies like some apologetics cry. The Jews were well aware of what Jesus claimed to be hence they cried out blasphemy! Jesus was a radical Jew himself and would do anything far from disgrace the Lords name. From the begining there was a Father, the Son, and the Holy spirit. This was clearly stated in john the baptists time. Once more Im sure Jesus taught that there were no prophets to be comming after him. This issue that you raise about the trinity is not a huge major issue anyway. Most people who convert to any Faith are not converted by Doctrine but by Conviction. They hear Gods truth and There is only one Truth! You can talk doctrine all you like knowing about God is one thing But to actually know Him is another. Relationship with God is the most important. Michael william James

ZAHEER:AISHA BROWN NEEDS TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRUE CHRISTIANITY AND CHRISTENDOM WHICH THE LATTER DID DISTORT THE TEACHINGS OF THE BIBLE. IT WAS THE CATHOLIC CHURCH THAT INVENTED THE TRINITY DOCTRINE IN 4 TH CENTURY. Christianity has digressed from the concept of the Oneness of God, however, into a vague and mysterious doctrine that was formulated during the fourth century. This doctrine, which continues to be a source of controversy both within and without the Christian religion, is known as the Doctrine of the Trinity. |
