I listened to him and he sounds like a Mr Rogers neighborhood character.Puddin' n spice and everything nice.He wouldn't last five minutes in the political/gladiator arena.They would have him for breakfast.Not that I am a lover of politics,but I do know reality extremely well,and the reality is Ron Paul is too skinny,and the first brisk wind that came along,would blow him into the next continent,and we would have to send troops to recover him. |

The fact that people would choose a president based on their voice or physical appearance is exactly why this country is in such decay. Ron Paul is the only candidate that is making sense, the only one who believes in bringing out the real facts about 9/11, for instance.
But the next president has already been decided by the people running the country, and it isn't Obama. They have other plans. |

Wy writing research has brought me in contact with some strange notions. It seems that UFOology is appearing in nearly every subject one sets out to research. I'm getting impatient with gleeful introductions to big eyed Greys,the tall Nordics and the evil Reptilians to name a few. On the fringes of UFOlogy are the Cryptzoological characters like the chupacabra, Sasquatch, Owl man, Moth man and so on ad infinitum. It's like Mother Goose stories from hell.
Alienz declaration that he knew who is asssigned by the secret controllers to be the next President kind of kicked in my irritation with all the the current paranoia political or otherwise.

I have more real estate in the form of swamp land then I can see to now. That and my Ocean front property in Arkansas is my big retirement plan. Either way it goes one or the other is going to be some real valuable real estate in a few hundred years.
As for UFOology and government conspiracies, I just don't know anything of the former and would be severly shocked and surprised to learn that the latter didn't happen. It is the nature of the political beast to conspire with one's friends for the moment and try to keep plans and secrets secret. The drama gets so intense that otherwise intelligent adults go crazy and start killing one another.
I would be just as surprised to learn that we on planet earth are the only life forms in the universe but I have never been introduced to an exterristal or had a conversation with anyone who could convince me that they have. So I just go on with my life neither believing nor disbelieving until something impacts my life to convince me one way or the other.
Actually there are a few rare fairy tales from hell that are written with real talent and are downright entertaining. There is a popular radio program called Coast to Coast that does an excellent job of presenting a large variety of supernatural, crypto-zoological and UFO themes for your entertainment. If you like to listen to such themes presented directly from the authors of best selling books sans the usual snickering, bickering and arguments; you can Goggle "C2C" and find the radio station in your area that carries the show.
I suscribe via streamlink as an antidote to the midnight blues that come around ever now and then while my muse is being uncooperative.

It isn't very logical to disbelieve in UFOs when millions have witnessed and photographed them. Just because some of them have been determined fake does not discredit the others. Do you also not believe the high-ranking military personnel who witnessed them? If they are lying, then that in itself is proof of government conspiracies, yes?
I also know people who have seen them and they are not people who are subject to telling lies. And it is hard to be mistaken when someone sees them on the ground in front of them. Just because you have not seen them, nor I, makes them any less a reality. I have never seen the Statue of Liberty, but I am fairly certain that it exists.
Perhaps you should read the book "Passport to Eternity" by Laurence W. Foreman. Skeptics might think it was written to make money. No, because it was distributed in only one book store in the world, not very wise if you want to get rich. Also, it is published in its entirety on the Net for free. Heck! You don't even have to leave your keyboard. My brother met and spoke with this man and is convinced that he was an ordinary guy.

Your notion of logic brings serious concerns for our educational system.
To believe is to have confidence in the reality or truth of something without having total proof.
I accept the possibility, even the likelyhood of life existing on other worlds. I accept the possibility of this planet being the only place that life exists. I have a lot more confidence in the former being facdtual then in the latter being factual. But I don't and won't "believe" either possibility in the absence of personal convincing evidence.
Twenty seven years in the military deeply involved in numerous conspiracies to keep important information from the prying eyes of our enemies has taught me that a secret known by five or more people rapidly ceases to be a secret.
The alleged conspiracy to keep Ron Paul's positive attributes from the voting public is likely factual from at least seven different sources. (The other candidates). That is the nature of the political beast and if a candidate doesn't have the skills to overcome the obsticals they don't get to be president. In biology it is called the weeding out process.

Hmmm sorry..but other issues weigh heavily on my mind when it comes to a presidential candidate. If time is going to be spent discussing politicians who are potentially good for the country how about...lets say Tom Tancreado...Fred Thompson...or better yet... a Progressive Democrat from Texas(Ray McMurrey). RonPaul(by the way I would never vote for)...Ive heard his spill and he doesnt have the foggiest clue how to lead this country. |

In October, Obama had 589,000 unique visitors to his campaign Web site, barackobama.com, but that number soared to 821,000 visitors in November, according to Nielsen NetRatings projections.
Clinton, meanwhile, in November had barely more than half as many visitors as in October.
In November, libertarian Republican Ron Paul’s site, ronpaul2008.com, counted 673,000 visitors, up from 451,000 in October. Though lagging in national polls, Paul has been running an aggressive Web campaign.
The number of visitors to Republican John McCain’s site plunged to just 94,000 in November, down from 182,000 in October.
Here are the numbers of unique visitors for each of the presidential Web sites, according to NetRatings Inc. projections.

Okay, so Ron Paul leads the next Republican by more than DOUBLE! That's my point, so why isn't he getting media attention?
You don't believe in conspiracies, yet you're saying there is a conspiracy of computer hackers on the Internet making it appear as though Ron Paul is leading?
Try to vote on that site more than once. You can't, they record the IP addresses.

When the Socialist contolled media started calling Ron Paul "Libertian/Republican" they got my interest.
I tend to be Libertarian in my political attitudes but I have been pretty much disillousined with the Libertian party of late.
The notion of a Libertian/Republican kind of stirs my fancy.

Several things fuel Ron Paul's popularity on the internet.
1. Ron Paul Fanatics email different support groups to maximize vote count on different polls. His lopsided "Wins" are in themselves revealing. Especially when compared to non-internet polls of likely voters - Ron Paul receives less than 1%.
2. People like me vote for him to skew the poll - It's actually kinda funny!

While you're Googling to try and find instances of poll tampering, maybe you should read more than the headline. This quote is from that very page you linked to:

I have listened to Medved when I lived in Los Angeles. He is such a right-winged wacko.
Ron Paul is correct in stating that the U.S. is to blame for terrorist attacks on this country due to our meddling in other countries and trying to police the world. And he will most likely not win the nomination. The only reason he's running as Republican is because he realizes other parties, like the Libertarian Party, which he ran for president as once before, have no chance because the Republicans and Democrats are really one working together to lock out other parties from fair inclusion. This occurs every time someone becomes popular and is one reason people are fleeing this country in droves. |

After seeing how bona fide candidates on both sides have been eliminated from the debates by NBC, ABC, etc., and how the media seems to focus only on certain candidates, one does tend to wonder who's really calling the shots.
