Does anyone realize just how much money and wasted time liberals cost this country? Now,they want to ban hot dogs at ball parks all over the country.3 people say that they cause cancer, and now the rage is on.Also, the ACLU traitors wants to tear down a huge cross in the mojave desert that is dedicated to our servicemen and women.Just because a catholic from Oregon was driving through the desert and saw it.He was offended by it being on government property. Go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeuBB_mOFIA When do we say enough is enough?? As far as I'm concerned ,the ACLU should be banned and ran out of the country on a rail.At the minimum, they should be tarred and feathered. |

Does anybody realize just how much the wealthy and business raped the common working class people from 2000 to 2008 because of conservative tax cuts and outsourcing of jobs? Don't know what that has to do with this but. . . . .maybe some of the reason will trickle down and we can understand. How would you feel if you were driving through the desert and you saw a large carving of the koran or a big buddist statue or any other religon's icon there dedicated to our troops? I'm willing to bet it would piss you off too. Hate to disagree with you once again double B but as I said before, the christian religon is not the only one in this country. If you cannot have all religon's represented on gonvernment property, there cannot be any religions represented on government property. You complain about how unfair liberals current domination is. . .yet you have the double standard that only one religon exists, and when the conservatives had domination, that was perfectly acceptable. As to the hot dog thing. . . .everything causes cancer so why don't we all just eat the dirt? Oh yea, that causes cancer too. I'm surprised you are not jumping on the acorn banwagon fox is still pulling around. . . . -Two Litre. _________________________________________________ There's a little black spot on the sun today. |

Here's your hero,Tim... I'll address your other socialistic issues later.. Honduras: Ousted President Caught in “Naked Power Grab” Nothing so shocking about this coup BY GLENN GARVIN Miami Herald June 30, 2009 …For weeks, Zelaya — an erratic leftist who styles himself after his good pal Hugo Chávez of Venezuela — has been engaged in a naked and illegal power grab, trying to rewrite the Honduran constitution to allow him to run for reelection in November. First Zelaya scheduled a national vote on a constitutional convention. After the Honduran supreme court ruled that only the country’s congress could call such an election, Zelaya ordered the army to help him stage it anyway. (It would be ”non-binding,” he said.) When the head of the armed forces, acting on orders from the supreme court, refused, Zelaya fired him, then led a mob to break into a military base where the ballots were stored. His actions have been repudiated by the country’s supreme court, its congress, its attorney-general, its chief human-rights advocate, all its major churches, its main business association, his own political party (which recently began debating an inquiry into Zelaya’s sanity) and most Hondurans: Recent polls have shown his approval rating down below 30 percent. In fact, about the only people who didn’t condemn Zelaya’s political gangsterism were the foreign leaders and diplomats who now primly lecture Hondurans about the importance of constitutional law. They’re also strangely silent about the vicious stream of threats against Honduras spewing from Chávez since Zelaya was deposed.

"How would you feel if you were driving through the desert and you saw a large carving of the koran or a big buddist statue or any other religon's icon there dedicated to our troops?" What if you were driving through the desert and had a valid thought? Your reasoning is as warped as the asphalt highways in the smokey mountains. Where did I ever say only one religion exists? Show me where I said that. Now you are really inhaling toxic fumes. "Does anybody realize just how much the wealthy and business raped the common working class people from 2000 to 2008 because of conservative tax cuts and outsourcing of jobs"? Being a common working man,I don't recall getting raped,or screwed, until this year when the Socialists took over everything. Now this is you without a net. What do you think this government is doing to you right now? Are you pleased with their performance? They have spent more money than all of the other presidents combined, and are screwing the people and their families to come, with the highest tax burden ever.Oh, I forgot....you love paying taxes....its your patriotic duty. Tell that to your grandkids...tell them how you loved Obama, and then scream when they stick you on a spit and BBQ you... P.S. Be sure and tell them that the ACLU defends child molesters.I'm sure they will love you then.

Gingrich: Obama sides with Castro and Chavez on Honduras by Michael O’Brien The Hill June 30, 2009 Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich accused President Obama of siding with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro and Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez when it comes to the recent coup in Honduras. Gingrich blasted Obama for opposing the coup in Honduras, which the former GOP leader insisted would have left in place a “leftist dictatorship.” Gingrich tweeted Tuesday: Sadly the obama administration has joined castro and chavez attacking honduran supreme court and congress for defending their constitution Having castro call for defending democracy should convince any reasonable person that honduras was on the edge of a leftist dictatorship.

Coup? Obama takes GM. Honduras? Rule of Law. Posted by Mike gamecock DeVine (Profile) Wednesday, July 1st at 2:00PM EDT 10 Comments What if, on January 21, 2001 instead of accompanying Vice President-Elect Dick Cheney to the Inauguration, Vice President Al Gore had led a large, angry mob in a march on Florida’s State Capitol building in Tallahassee to hand out Presidential survey election ballots ruled illegal by the Supreme Court? What if either of our impeached Presidents, Andrew Johnson or Bill Clinton, had lost their respective removal trials in the U.S. Senate but refused to vacate the White House and relinquish power? Would police action to remove either Gore, Johnson or Clinton from office, pursuant to orders of the Supreme Court and at the direction of the Attorney General, whether or not carried out by U.S. Marshals, Florida State Troopers, the FBI, Secret Service or the U.S. Army, immediately after which the person next in the line of succession under the Constitution assumes the office of Chief Executive, be considered a coup? Merriam-Webster defines a coup d’etat as: a sudden decisive exercise of force in politics ; especially : the violent overthrow or alteration of an existing government by a small group President of the United States, Barack Obama aka Leader of the Free World and famed non-meddler in the affairs of Iran, whose small group of ruling Mullahs came to power via a sudden, decisive exercise of political force that overthrew the existing government while violently seizing American hostages, has joined Marxist Dictator Hugo Chavez (Venezuela) and Communist Dictators Fidel Castro (Cuba) and Daniel Ortega (Nicaragua) in denouncing the removal of Honduran President Manual Zelaya as an “illegal coup”. Is this the lowest day in the history of the United States’ presidency? Obama’s un-clenched hand remains extended to the freshly bloodied fists of Iran’s Ayatolla Khameini and President Ahmedinijad. I say freshly since well before the mullahs shot down unarmed innocents in the streets of Tehran of late, their hands have been encrusted for decades with the blood of Americans and others via terrorist attacks in Iraq, Lebanon, Israel and the Khobar Towers. Obama remains willing to “deal” with those murderers. Yet, the recent events in Honduras have brought about Obama’s conversion to the Church of Meddlesomeness to the point of isolating a small, poor Democracy? What great injustice has drawn the stare of our President’s evil eye? Let us look at the series of events our converted Meddler-in-Chief denounces as a “coup”, in light of its actual definition (Noah Webster, pictured above) and the Rule of Law: Constitution limits Presidential terms Mel Zelaya is, or was, the President of Honduras. He and Hugo Chaves were tight. So tight, it seems, that Zelaya wanted to emulate Hugo by changing the Honduran constitution to allow him to run for office until he durned well gets tired of it. President plays no role in enactment of Constitutional Amendments To change the constitution in Honduras you have to convene a constituent assembly. The president cannot do that. The Honduran congress must approve a national referendum calling for the constituent assembly to consider changes to the constitution. Zelaya didn’t like the part about the constitution requiring approval of the congress before a national referendum could be called. So … he decided to call one on his own. President acts outside his Constitutional Authority OK .. so here we have President Zelaya calling for a national referendum when he doesn’t have the power to do so. The next problem is obtaining ballots! Since the Honduran congress had not called for the referendum, as required by the constitution, the government certainly wasn’t going to print the ballots! After all, how smart would it be to print ballots for an illegal referendum? So … Zelaya had to get the ballots printed elsewhere. Here’s an idea! Get his pall Hugo Chavez to print them! Yes! That will work! Supreme Court declares President’s actions unconstitutional So Chaves prints Zelaya’s ballots and they’re shipped to Honduras. Enter the Honduran Supreme Court. The court considers Zelaya’s election in light of the requirements of the Honduran constitution, and rules the referendum illegal and unconstitutional. The court then issues an order to the Honduran military telling them not to do the logistical work associated with Zelaya’s phony referendum. Remember, now … all of this has one primary goal. To get rid of the term limits limiting Zelaya’s rule in Honduras. President defies Court Order After the supreme court’s decision, General Romeo Velasquez tells President Zelaya that he is subject to a proper order from the Supreme Court and will not be able to carry out Zelaya’s referendum. So … Zelaya fires him. The Supreme Court orders Zelaya to reinstate Velasquez, and Zelaya refuses to do so. Military detains President as he leads an illegal mob intent on its own coup d’etat At this point Zelaya’s ego is getting the better of him. If the military won’t run his illegal referendum, he’ll just do it himself. He gins up a mob and leads them to the military compound where Hugo’s ballots are stored and then has his supporters begin distributing the ballots to the masses. President arrested for criminal acts but is mercifully allowed exile rather than prosecution Based on the Supreme Court’s ruling the Honduran attorney general said that the proposed referendum was illegal and said that he would arrest anyone attempting to carry out the election. Zelaya was arrested by the military and was escorted out of the country. Not a coup Messy situation, but not a coup, given that the military never seized control of the government as the Speaker of the House assumed the Presidency on an interim basis pending the already scheduled November election. Not a few suggest that it would have been better to have detained Zelaya in country and removed him via impeachment, but his actions were wreaking havoc on civil order. It should also be noted that all major institutions in the country, including his own political party, supported his removal from office. Compare to Obama’s actions in the USA Shall we return to the definition of coup d’etats as we analyze how Obama became CEO of Chrysler, General Motors and large segments if the banking industry? TARP was passed by Congress in 2008 for the purpose of Protecting the financial industry by Relieving banks of Troubled Assets, hence the acronym. To date, no bank has been relieved from the first troubled asset. Instead, hundreds of billions have been used to buy government ownership in banks, and to takeover GM and Chrysler, all with no constitutionally mandated just compensation paid to creditors or shareholders whose property interests were taken. Rather, taxpayer money has been funneled thru under duress bankrupticies for political payoffs to labor unions with taxpayers on the hook for future products liability, debts and losses by the auto companies and banks. In effect, a small group (Obama/Geithner/Bernanke) overthrew and/or altered existing corporate governance under the Rule of Law via the sudden and decisive force of the Executive Branch of the Government of the United States. Would that President Obama would eschew constructive coups in the America; denounce them among the Axis of Evil; and quit imagining them where they haven’t occurred in Central America.

Effective today, Sales Tax in Los Angeles County, CA where I live is now 9.75% Oh and because of some local taxes, this can be over 10% in some cities in the county.. And yes Kalifornia has a state income tax too. No wonder our state is broke and effective tomorrow Kalifornia will be issuing $3.36 Billion worth of IOUs this month alone! I want to thank the Democrat Party who has run the state legislature for the last 40 years and Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Henry Waxman, Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, for their lacking leadership. Fortunately Arnold is standing up to the Budget Beasts for now anyway. Thanks alot. Excuse me it's Miller Time. |

ooohhh...and here is more.. And, of course, there's the "Travel Promotion Act." This bill proposes an unusual "solution" to the post-9/11 decline in foreign travel to the United States: Slap a tax on foreigners who do visit. The tax money, you see, would then pay for a government-sponsored ad campaign to encourage people to visit. The geniuses in Congress are really onto something with this one, aren't they? It could be the start of something really big. How about taxing foreigners who buy U.S. produced beef so the government could launch a "Buy Beef" campaign? Or maybe a special levy on foreigners who buy GM cars. You can almost see the U.S. steel flying off foreign showroom floors, can't you? Unfortunately, this through-the-looking-glass logic is all the rage on Capitol Hill. But piling up debt, raising taxes, growing government, strangling private industry, and repealing sound security measures will not make us safer. As unveiled so far this year, the Congressional agenda for homeland security so far just makes our legislative leaders look dumb and dumber. And on who's watch did all this mess take place? Keep whining and moaning double B, Conservatives had the power and lost it, simple fact. I love paying taxes?. . . .Then you must be cozy with the idea of business and the wealthy getting bigger and better tax CUTS than you from 2000 to 2008 right? Warren Buffet's secetary pays more percentage in taxes then he does, he even admitted it. . .I suppose you are totally a-ok with that??? Or hasn't this unfair theory TRICKLED DOWN to you yet? It is one of the few things that did TRICKLE DOWN to me at least. Conservatives spent, spent, spent from 2000 to 2006 giving us three quaters this debt. The PEOPLE, whom you now say you represent(what a big joke that is), voted their sorry butts out over the next two years. Thank God conservatives are not in control now, for we would be in even worse shape than we are now. Tell me almighty conservative, what would you have done to the failing banks, auto companys and this plunging ecomony? Let them all fail and trust God? No, they would have done the same thing obama is doing now, the only difference is you would not be whining and complaining about it. You would be saying how great and wonder they are performing, things are going smoothly and that there is nothing to worry about. . . . .Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Sounds familiar to me. Stop whining and moaning about your conservative loss of power and except the very ideals your failed party would have had to imply in this circumstance as well. Anything different for both parties would have led to the definate destruction of this country and possibly the world. Boo hoo hoo. . .Go to a tea party and vent your anger and loss. -Two Litre _________________________________________________ There's a little black spot on the sun today. |

Don't cry young man,let me read you a story.. ~~~~~~ And it came to pass in the Age of Insanity that the people of the land called America , having lost their morals, their initiative, and their will to defend their liberties, chose as their Supreme Leader that person known as "The One." He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning; but he hypnotized the people telling them, "I am sent to save you. My lack of experience, my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego, and my association with evil doers are of no consequence. For I shall save you with Hope and Change. Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout the land that he who preceded me is evil, that he has defiled the nation, and that all he has built must be destroyed." And the people rejoiced, for even though they knew not what "The One" would do, he had promised that it was good; and they believed. And "The One" said "We live in the greatest country in the world. Help me change everything about it!" And the people said, "Hallelujah! Change is good!" Then He said, "We are going to tax the rich fat-cats." And the people said "Sock it to them!" "And redistribute their wealth." And the people said, "Show us the money!" And then He said, "Redistribution of wealth is good for everybody." And Joe the plumber asked, "Are you kidding me? You're going to steal my money and give it to the deadbeats??" And "The One" ridiculed and taunted him, and Joe's personal records were hacked and publicized. One lone reporter asked, "Isn't that Marxist policy?" And she was banished from the kingdom! Then a citizen asked, "With no foreign relations experience and having zero military experience or knowledge, how will you deal with radical terrorists?" And "The One" said, "Simple. I shall sit with them and talk with them and show them how nice we really are; and they will forget that they ever wanted to kill us all!" And the people said, "Hallelujah!! We are safe at last, and we can beat our weapons into free cars for the people!" Then "The One" said, "I shall give 95% of you lower taxes." And one, lone voice said, "But 40% of us don't pay ANY taxes." So "The One" said, "Then I shall give you some of the taxes the fat-cats pay!" And the people said, "Hallelujah!! Show us the money!" Then "The One" said, "I shall tax your Capital Gains when you sell your homes!" And the people yawned and the slumping housing market collapsed. And He said, "I shall mandate employer-funded health care for EVERY worker and raise the minimum wage. And I shall give every person unlimited healthcare and medicine and transportation to the clinics." And the people said, "Give me some of that!" Then He said, "I shall penalize employers who ship jobs overseas." And the people said, "Where's my rebate check?" Then "The One" said, "I shall bankrupt the coal industry and electricity rates will skyrocket!" And the people said, "Coal is dirty, coal is evil, no more coal! But we don't care for that part about higher electric rates." So "The One" said, "Not to worry. If your rebate isn't enough to cover your expenses, we shall bail you out. Just sign up with ACORN and your troubles are over!" Then He said, "Illegal immigrants feel scorned and slighted. Let's grant them amnesty, Social Security, free education, free lunches, free medical care, bi-lingual signs and guaranteed housing." And the people said, "Hallelujah!!" And they made him King! And so it came to pass that employers, facing spiraling costs and ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and laid off workers. Others simply gave up and went out of business and the economy sank like unto a rock dropped from a cliff. The banking industry was destroyed. Manufacturing slowed to a crawl. And more of the people were without a means of support. Then "The One" said, "I am "The One" - The Messiah - and I'm here to save you! We shall just print more money so everyone will have enough!" But our foreign trading partners said unto Him, "Wait a minute. Your dollar is not worth a pile of camel dung! You will have to pay more..." And the people said, "Wait a minute. That is unfair!!" And the world said, "Neither are these other idiotic programs you have embraced. Lo, you have become a Socialist state and a second-rate power. Now you shall play by our rules!" And the people cried out, "Alas, alas!! What have we done?" But yea verily, it was too late. The people set upon "The One" and spat upon him and stoned him, and his name was dung. And the once mighty nation was no more; and the once proud people were without sustenance or shelter or hope. And the Change "The One" had given them was as like unto a poison that had destroyed them and like a whirlwind that consumed all that they had built. And the people beat their chests in despair and cried out in anguish, "Give us back our nation and our pride and our hope!!" But it was too late, and their homeland was no more. And the camels came carrying the turbaned Taliban on a Jihad. And they rejoiced that there were no firearms in any of the homes. They carried the men into the streets and beheaded them and put the women in burkhas. There was no resistance. "The One" had disarmed the population, much to the approval of Queen Pelosi and Prince Schumer. There was much blood in the land, and the peaceful followers of Islam were overjoyed.

I don't think so.As for Sara, the late night so called left wing commedienes chop her up per the Liberal left wing media's request...because they are afraid of what she is capable of doing. Come to California and I will give you an autograph.... So,you are the only non whiner in America? Then, you surely are a unique person. How come when Clinton was president and molesting all of those women, the NOW organization never said a word. Yet Sara Palin has done nothing to molest people and the media rips her and her family to shreds...ohhh,could it be because she's Conservative? When the Liberal attack dogs go after her and her family(kids) 24/7 without let up,it would seem Sara was a mass murderer. I guess its easy to attack a woman verbally, but if they were face to face with her, either her husband or herself, would kick their A$$,and gut them like a Salmon.Alaskans are tough people and the so called hollywierd comedienes are in dire straits for laughter. They know they can't say squat about Obama.Orders from headquarters. |

Oh my goodness, Bubby. Remember Chelsea? How would you like to read a newspaper, and find out that you're ugly? Yes, on orders from the White House, she was no longer attacked. Presidential families should NOT be attacked, unless they do something that IS news (The Bush daughters underage drinking). If Sara finds herself in the White House (shudder), her family will be accorded the same curtesy. But again, when a politician who is against sex ed in public schools daughter turns up pregnant, Bubby, that IS news. I've heard it said that there were jokes about her downs syndrome baby. I never heard any. But if there were, I would have considered them extremely tasteless. As was David Letterman's joke in very bad taste. And he suffered for it in the court of public opinion, as well he should have. I find it rude that Hillary Clinton was attacked because of her husbands indiscretions. But there it is. Bubby, I guess it depends on how much we love the public figure as to how offended we are when they come under attack. In a perfect world, no one would be ridiculed for what they can't help. Oh dear, I can just hear you singing Kumbaya, right about now. Let me close by saying that I highly admire you, both for the person that you are, and for your intelligence. We may be poles apart in our political opinions, but my opinion of the fine person that you are will never change. Hugs... Jeri

They have deleted my last two posts for whatever reason..one more time and I will drop my support for the Starlite.... If Obama and Company are willing to stoop to so low a tactic as inviting Americans to inform on each other, even in "casual conversation," what else would they be willing to do?
