LIBERAL HISTORY
Real History before it was rewritten
to accomodate the small mindedness of selfish, greedy, pompous,
hipocritical conservatives,
who think the whole world revolves around them:
Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers.
They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer
and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.
The aggresive conservative hunters would kill the meat,
while the liberal gatherers would gather hearbs to make the meals taste decent,
use the skins of the animals to provide clothing for the tribe
and grow other food to provide for the masses when hunting was scarce.
It was also the liberals, with imaginative minds,
who discovered how to harness fire to cook the meat,
discovered ways to dry, smoke and otherwise preserve food for the hard times.
They (the liberals) also learned how to harness and redirect water for there use,
while the macho hunters were out killing their prey.
Liberals discovered how to use their grain to create beer,
which kept the hunters busy getting sh**-faced & telling each other how great they were,
while the liberals had time to trade, communicate with others in a reasoning way
and create civilization, to the benefit of all.
Liberals also invented the wheel with their great sense of dreaming and imagination.
This allowed them to travel, communicate more, move their goods from place to place easier.
All of this to make trade and civilization much more viable.
The hunters, meanwhile, killed meat, pounded on each other while grunting visciously,
got sh**-faced and told each other how great they were before they passed out.
Some noteworthy achievements of consertives include, clubs, bows and arrows, guns,
the atom bomb, war and mass murder of innocent people.
Over the years the conservatives came to be symbolized by the elephant;
large, grandiose, prone to rampaging.
The liberals are symbolized by the donkey,
hardy, stubborn and able to help man carry his burdens.
Modern Liberals believe in working for a living,
putting in an honest day's work for an honest days pay.
But thanks to the conservatives, the honest day's pay doesn't really exist anymore;
for the conservatives believe in minipulating money out of the masses
and the using the money to make more money to stuff in their evermore greedy coffers,
forgetting the needy, the worthy and the hardworking.
You see, the conservatives have never really known what compassion means.
They are to busy looking out for themselves and hoarding whatever they can.
Ta-da... True history before the conservatives distorted it with their corporate propoganda...

So you turned the original around to suit your Democratic agenda.Typical Liberal ploy.Use someone elses work to sponge off of it and change it to what you consider as humorous and demand it to be shared by everyone...you have obviously been brain washed beyond repair,so I shall leave you in your own mud puddle and maybe someday you will come clean.... |

No,,, Blue...you took a story thats been circling the net for years about how the conservatives were the workers(the hunters) and the Liberals laid home on their butts and did the cooking for them,then you changed it around to add your own little b.s.Typical Liberal...taking credit for somebody else's work
and trying to distribute it as your own.I bet if you played golf,you would cheat on the score card also..incidentally,The Democrats have started more wars that the Conservatives. |

Actually it was the Liberal men that stayed home and did the cooking.The women knew how to control your actions.They probably hated you for being such a wimpy Liberal.Let the Conservatives find the work,make the money,grow the food,and then we will whine until they share it with us.Good grief,Charlie Brown. |

Hmmm. Interesting posts. Bubby said that this story has been circling the net for years saying that conservatives did all the work...and accuses liberals of stealing it and twisting it to meet their own agenda. Well, a version of it has been told in indigenous circles for centuries, but it was about the feminine (gatherers) and the masculine (hunters)...so that story circling the net must've been stolen and twisted, too. It reminds me of the story of Cain vs Abel, as Daniel Quinn retold it in Ishmael. It's a story old as life itself. And it was never meant to be "Us vs Them". It was supposed to tell us, as Steven so aptly pointed out in his original post, that both sorts are needed to work in balance...TOGETHER. Without the "hunters" the People wouldn't have the meat they needed to survive. Without the gatherers, they wouldn't have had the shelter or clothing that the women of the tribes provided. They needed each other. But people today are so divided they feel like honoring someone else's gifts diminishes their own. Like Bubby's disparaging remarks about those who "laid home on their butts and did the cooking." It doesn't matter if it was a woman or a man performing that task. Point is that preparing the food is just as important a task as procuring the food. Now, how to get on point with these lessons in a political discussion is beyond me. Both conservatives and liberals are so entrenched in the rightness of their own ways that it seems pretty impossible to find that needed balance again. Leaning too far to any one side is sure to make civilization topple. |

Well my dear Mel,of course you have a very valid point and there is no way to resolve the difference's between the two parties.The Liberals do not believe in the death penalty for murderers,but they believe in abortion.Killing of murderers is not okay,but killing babies is perfectly acceptable.I believe the only time a woman should abort is if she has been raped .
We passed a death penalty law in California,but it has been totally ignored by the courts.They keep releasing child molesters and rapists on the street,only to have them commit the same crimes.Now our state is broke from having to deal with illegal aliens and hospitals are closing because the illegals cannot pay for their health care.Of course Pelosi will fix that with health care for the world.The country is broke.Who will pay for it?
Our civilization is already toppling from the greed and corruption,the lack of any kind of morals,or religious faith,and pure stupidity
from our appointed leaders.
Obama wouldn't make a good dog catcher.God is fed up with this country and I don't blame him. |

Logic is not a common characteristic of the folks on the left. Neither is honesty. Those who live on the left make up the rules and demand that others follow them while they do as they please. They accuse George Bush of being a war criminal and Sarah Palin of inciting murder, but their words aren't hateful or incendiary. They call anyone who disagrees with them a racist, a bigot or an ignorant redneck because there is no point of view other than their own. They can lie, cheat and steal with impunity because the achievement of their "higher purpose" requires it. They have no conscience, they have no heart and they have no honor, but they're okay with that as long as they get what they want and believe they deserve.
