So the media is shouting hater's and Islamophobia because New Yorkers don't want the mosque at ground zero..Hey! I don't want mosques anywhere in America until they allow Churches and Bibles in Saudia Arabia and all Muslim countries. Go home Islam...we don't need you here.Never did .Never will. Go conquer Mars or Saturn. So the media is being paid by Islam to spread the panic.Child molesters and women beaters are not wanted here.Neither is the pro mosque media. |

wouldn't really expect nations that make no claim to religious freedoms to understand how to be tolerant and accepting of different faiths. but a nation founded on just such principles ought to lead the way, and without expectation of reciprocal allowances. it is how we hold ourselves to a higher truth and wisdom... it is how we can shine as a beacon of compassion and show the true meaning of freedom. if we only hold to these ideals when it behooves us, when it is to the benefit of our own particular faith, then we have done nothing special, nor have we led by example. sometimes, sir bubby, silence is the better part of wisdom. not that there exist no alternate views or opinions. a post such as the one you left here, really doesn't ask for intercourse, nor does it evidence intelligence. but i will answer you...tho not a muslim...perhaps even not a good christian, if to be that means i must hate my fellow humans on the basis of what a few of their faith have done. peace moon moon spirit

Thats a good response Dawa, and of course it would be absolutely marvelous if we could live in such a manner. To totally accept a religion that stones women, beheads non believers, teaches young children to fire AK 47's and preaches hatred towards our country. It wouldn't be so bad, if they didn't want to dominate us.Intercourse of knowledge is in the eye's and ears of the beholder. Hate is such a strong word, yet I wonder if that is exactly what young Danny Pearls family felt while watching a video of the radical Muslims beheading their son? I cannot hold myself to a higher truth or wisdom. That is my Lord's to handle. We were a beacon of peace and understanding until the Muslims turned out the lights on 9-11. "wouldn't really expect nations that make no claim to religious freedoms to understand how to be tolerant and accepting of different faiths." Is this why our president cancelled National Prayer Day? (A gathering of all religions to pray for this country.) Do you consider him a tolerant person? A Christian, perhaps? I'm glad to see you are adapting to their American acceptance.Maybe a convert in the near future? I wish you well,my friend. There is indeed only one God.There is good and evil, hate and love, and a reaction to every action.Simple or complicated,we must adhere to what we believe,or deny our own existence. It was a pleasure to read and analyze your words.Your faith is strong in what you believe. May your Moon always shine with love.

Ahhh Pmbulo, its good to see you again. So we must love our enemies as they try to destroy us.Its not an easy commandment to accept as a Christian. One I am sure I will discuss with my Lord for days to come. His disciples were quick to anger also. One cut off the ear of a Roman guard that offended our Lord.Would you say that was done in hate or love?Look at King David and the multitude of people that he killed in battle. Was that done in hate or love?Remove the plank from your own eye before perceiving me as filled with hate. That is judgement that belongs to God, not to you. I actually love peace and would be thrilled to find it in the Muslim's intentions, yet their words and actions leave me no choice but to vehemently disagree with them. The average Christian cannot love someone that is trying to destroy him.Its human nature. We all fall short of His glory.Even you. There may come a day when YOU may even defy that commandment.Muslims are allowed to lie to all Infidels as stated in the Koran.Do you appreciate people lying to you? Somehow I find that hard to accept.Must be the code of the west. |

am curious sir bubbs to know how many muslims you know personally... i have known more than most...was a part of their community while working on 'teach-ins' about the difference between being anti-zionist or anti-semitic. my lover at the time was jewish. we worked side by side with our muslim friends toward an understanding of delicate and intricately interwoven issues concerning this. in the years since, i haven't met a single muslim who is inherently violent...nor one who believes that their holy book wants them to kill the infidels...any more than i know any christians or jews who would believe that the marching orders given by the old testament yahweh god to destroy are relevant in todays world. those who have a sense of what today's jihad means tell me that the struggle or warfare is against principalities and spirits that tempt the soul away from a relationship with Allah. having read both the bible and the koran...having studied greek, hebrew and arabic, i find it amazing that both books have their more radical interpretations. think of the jim jones cult type christian groups, some co-ercing suicide, some condoning bombing of clinics or killing of doctors... there are many many examples i could cite here about radical and destructive christian groups that read things into the bible that i don't find there. none of the muslims i know believe their book urges them to commit atrocities. all of the muslims i know are repulsed by the very notion. islam actually means 'do peace' in arabic, words follow a pattern... salam means peace (like shalom) islam means embrace peace or do peace and muslim means one who has embraced peace. the lunatic fringe is seldom representative of the whole... peace to you sir bubby moon moon spirit

Hello Moon,my Angels lost in the 9th inning and the rally monkey was of no use.Actually, the only Muslims I have been exposed to in California are some that work in places such as Target,Gas stations, and liquor stores. Most are disgruntled and discourteous.I always ask if they are Muslim, just to make sure I'm not conversing with a Hindu, because there are plenty of Hindu's that have similar positions.I am patient with their attitudes, yet at the same time I find it difficult to accept it. You are right about interpretations. Literalistic interpretations can lead to some bizarre conclusions. Reverand Wright being another prime example, along with Jim Jones. I have Jewish friends and I have Messianic Jewish friends. I have studied the Torah, the Bible and the Koran and the Age of Faith by Will Durant. Durant gives a complete chronological analysis of the Muslim religion and various others. There are parts in the Koran that states that it is acceptable to lie to all infidels or non believers. So hopefully,we are not being lied to by the likes of Ahmadnejad about his nuclear intentions. I have several friends that live in New York, and are extremely disturbed by this proposed Mosque being built at Ground Zero. Until I see peaceful Muslims coming forth to denounce the Jihadist and their terrorist threats,I will continue to defend those that oppose them....bellum omnium contra omnes....shine on my friend

Sent: Sunday, September 26, 2010 8:30 AM Subject: [REVIVE-ISRAEL] Revive Israel Update Settlement Freeze by Asher Intrater Today the agreed period of settlement freeze by Israel in the territories comes to an end. There is intense pressure on Benyamin Netanyahu to continue the freeze. Please pray for wisdom for Netanyahu to know the right thing to do and to have the courage to do it. If he agrees to continue the freeze, it would facilitate a continued period of talks between Israel and the Palestinians, and appease international pressure as well from the United States and the United Nations. On the other hand, agreement to continue the freeze breaks the basic principle of negotiations, give and take, and fulfilling promises. Israel agreed to a limited freeze and did so. Nothing has been offered in return. In addition, continuing the freeze reinforces the international myth that Israel's building homes in the territories is equivalent to terrorism. Israeli citizens need homes. What would be the world reaction if some country demanded a freeze on building homes for Blacks or Muslims? What if Israel demanded a freeze on building homes for Arabs within Israel as a pre-requisite for resuming peace talks? The racist attitude against Jews in the reaction to the settlements should be apparent. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Love of Truth There was an increased wave of "double standard" criticism against Israel this week. Ahmadinejad spoke at the U. N. saying that the U. S. and Israel were responsible for the Twin Towers attack. Obama demanded of Israel to continue its building freeze while demanding no concessions of the Palestinians. There was a hysterical reaction to a pastor in Florida who said he might burn copies of the Koran, with no mention of the fact that American and Israeli flags have been burned by Muslims in countless demonstrations around the world (let alone the murder of Christian missionaries). The U.N. condemned Israel's handling of the flotilla incident, although there was clear photographed proof that the Israeli soldiers were attacked first Romans 1:25 – They exchanged the truth of God for the lie. II Thessalonians 2:10 – They did not receive the love of truth. Isaiah 5:20 – Woe to those who call evil good and good evil! The international political and media attacks against Israel reflect a certain disregard for truth. The issue for them is not what really happened or what is right and wrong, but rather how much Muslims will be offended and the United Nations will be upset. See this article by Daniel Pipes in the Washington Times: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/sep/20/rushdie-rules-reach-florida/ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Geneva Demonstration There is a demonstration scheduled on September 28 on behalf of Gilad Shalit at the international headquarters of the Red Cross in Switzerland. Watch this video produced by Calev Meyers and Solomon Intrater about the demonstration and the double standard against Israel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6GBXLwixzw

Politics aside, I do not believe in this idea that all gods are one god. The 1st commandment is "Thou shall have no other gods before me." Now if you believe in other Gods being equal to my God, which is Father, Son and Holy Ghost, then you do not believe in my God at all! There is one God. The creator of all. If you choose to recognize or serve others than you are breaking the first commandment. I do not think I have the right to tell others which God to serve. But the God of the bible does not accept or recognize other gods and commands me to reject other Gods as false idols. So all this acceptance of other religions is simpy unacceptable to the one and only LIving God. He does not expect us to hate other religions, but he certainly does not expect us to open the door for them. If more people read and understood the Bible and it's impact on history our leaders would certainly understand more clearly how to make wiser decisions. For instance, if Obamah understood the history of Israel and God's promises to them he would not be trying to give their land to Palistine. The reason for the violence there is as old as the Bible itself. God made specific promises to Abraham regarding the land of Palestine and Israel. Our own governent has decided now that God's promises are not true, that all gods are the same, and they can do what they like! Or they do not have a clue about God's commandment over Israel. Everything our two political parties fight over can be resolved if we will do as the Bible teaches us. "If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 We want to be accepting of other religions and people, but when those ideas and beliefs contradict the very basic Godly commandments we hold dear; that our country was founded on, we cannot open our doors and say yes please come on in. Teach our children about your false god. I for one reject this poitical correctness as dangerous! It is veil of darkness that has swept over the eyes of otherwise intelligent people, that decieves them into thinking they need to be in the "in" crowd. It's starts in preschool! Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." |

"I'm 63 and I'm Tired" By Robert A. Hall I'm 63. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I've worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven't called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there's no retirement in sight, and I'm tired. Very tired. I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it. I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't "believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and Shari'a law tells them to. I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund mosques and mandrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in America and Canada , while no American nor Canadian group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance. I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate. I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor. I'm real tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems. Yes, I'm damn tired. But I'm also glad to be 63. Because, mostly, I'm not going to have to see the world these people are making. I'm just sorry for my granddaughter. Robert A. Hall is a Marine Vietnam veteran who served five terms in the Massachusetts State Senate.

Bubz, that is a great article! believe the US is far more evolved, if you will, than to go back to a time when women were treated as second class citizens, much less murdered or beaten in the name of family honor! I guess that makes me a hater too! Spew spew spew!!! :P |

Ditto,Ms Gracie.I don't see how anyone can consider this a religion of peace, when they treat their women like animals. What is truly baffling is how we elected one of them as our president.Trump is right when he says Obama is in over his head. |
